A Hellblazer miscellany

We don't seem to have a catch-all thread for stuff about Hellblazer that doesn't belong in its own thread. Maybe there's a reason.

Writer Philip Sandifer is doing a series of articles called "The Last War In Albion" which he describes as

an ongoing critical history of the British comics industry focused primarily on the magical war between Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. Its primary narrative runs from the publication of Grant Morrison's earliest professional comics work in 1979 through to the present day ...

Here's the entry about John Constantine: "Declare Yourself A Magician".

You're welcome. :hattip:

When the TV series was announced, websites fell over themselves to publish lists articles telling us what the essential Hellblazer stories were. Google "best Hellblazer stories" and you'll see what I mean.

Here's an excellent one from Flavorwire — and the author's name seems strangely familiar... :wink2:

Remember Dark Entries, that one-shot graphic novel thingy written by Ian Rankin?

Ian's famous detective Inspector Rebus is having a 30th anniversary this year, and Sean Phillips has provided some commemorative artwork. Can you spot why I'm posting this to a Hellblazer forum? :wink2:

That does not look like Rebus. Far too slim to be Ken Stott...
