Generally I like it, but one small annoying thing: Now posters' "Interests" shows up in the box where their avatar and personal info is. That means that the members who have listed lots of interests get huuuge posts even when the actual post is only a single sentence.

Also, all the old posts' quotes seem not to work?
Capital is dead labor, which, vampire-like, lives only by sucking living labor, and lives the more, the more labor it sucks.

Yeah I noticed these but couldn't find the display controls yet to confine interests to profile.
The quote problem probably requires magical SQL skills of the McMahon level to search & replace.

[#10211] You may only use up to lines of text in your signature.

Is the answer I get when trying to change my sig. Even if I am trying to change it to the single line/letter "a"

That is the new search future I was referring to.

The old one had an option to see each post with the word you were looking for in its entirity.

I seem to have sorted the interests field, but there's no option to limit the length of signatures in lines as far as I can see.

The search function doesn't have an obvious option to show full posts (or even to increase the word count), but you can click on that circular arrow thing on the left of the preview to go to the post and then hit your browser's back.

J.Mac may know better.

I miss the quick sign-in option on the frontpage. It's a niggle, I know.

Fucking gentrification.
This place is too nice for someone like me now.
I really don't like all the yuppies sitting around drinking StarBucks and talking on their cell phones, for one.
And, too technical for someone as old as me.

Is there a "quick reply" button?
Does the "Go to last unread post" icon work for everyone else? It takes me to the first post of the thread, rather than the last unread one.

Quick reply has been replaced by the much more contemporary "fast reply".
Go to first unread post is the orangey icon on the left of the title,
and works fine for me.

Aye Christian, when I logged onto to the newly decorated site for the first time yesterday the "go to last unread post" icon did the same for me too.

However, after just marking all threads as read, it works fine for me today.

Still, it looks quite fresh if complex. A bit like comparing the old Enterprise bridge with the new one.
I generally don't like change, but then I also generally end up getting used to it, so ho-hum.
What's that film that you love?
What film?
The one about the fucking hairdresser, the space hairdresser and the cowboy. The guy, he's got a tin foil pal and a pedal bin. His father's a robot and he's fucking fucked his sister. Lego! They're all made of fucking lego.

Like it, but missing the Add Fast Reply and the Quick Edit buttons, I make a lot of mistakes when righting.

Huh?
Fast reply is ever-present at the bottom of your screen, and the "edit"-button is identical to the old "quick edit", with the added option to "use full editor".
