Dog, I found that part of the story to be told clearly. I think it was just trying to figure out how much of what else was going on was dream imagery versus what was actually happening, and the identity of the masked female.
Yeah, there's no way I'm paying 24 dollars for the mini-series, and then picking up a hardcover afterwards, just to have the whole series make sense.
I think I can make sense of the entire series if I re-read, knowing how it ends, knowing about the Qlipoth elements. I don't think the series was meant to read over nearly a year, with sometimes two months wait between issues. I think the series would read better read at once.

Got hold of the latest volume of Warren's Empowered, which seems a bit repetitive so far. Still, the last one was one big (and pretty phenomenal) story, so anything's going to be a step down after that...
