I do miss the "mark this forum as read and return to board index" option though.

Like it, but missing the Add Fast Reply and the Quick Edit buttons, I make a lot of mistakes when righting.
Huh?
Fast reply is ever-present at the bottom of your screen, and the "edit"-button is identical to the old "quick edit", with the added option to "use full editor".
Oh, thanks!! I did not realized. So, I perfectly like it.

What's up with these plus- and minussigns in the lower right corner of the posts, where we can ostensibly "vote up" posts? Explanation, please?

Yes. I get "Action failed. You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day."

But that still doesn't answer my question: What does it do?

It rates the posts and people and threads get totals based on their scores.
But that'd be silly so the function is disabled.

[#10211] You may only use up to lines of text in your signature.

Is the answer I get when trying to change my sig. Even if I am trying to change it to the single line/letter "a"
This is exactly what happens to me, too, when I try to change my signature.  Its been happening for months, so maybe it began when the changes happened, I don't know.

Here's a post from what appears to be an InVision site about this problem:

If you upgrade from a 2.3 product, theis option is added with a empty or 0 value, and so each group needs to be editted, just one of the pains of upgrading, the same will need to be done with reputation permissions.

I don't know anything about the site that this message comes from or if the fix mentioned in this post relevant to what's going on here or not.  But I'm fairly sure the problem isn't due to something on my end.  I've tried to delete my sig at different times using two different XP installs on two different PCs and at least two different Linux distributions, using IE, Firefox and a whole slew of other browsers, with identical lack of success.

When I log in, the option to "remember me" (i.e. my log-in info) is always ticked off by default, and I have to un-tick it. It's a minor nuisance, but still: Securitywise I prefer it that my computer doesn't remember my passwords etc. Is it the forum which does this, or is it down to Firefox or some such?
