I wonder if i can take this mini back to my comic book store and get my money back. I think this book existed solely as a character checklist for JL: Dark. Which doesn't bode well for that book. You guys are right, absolutely nothing happened. I wonder why they changed generic fat bloke into Chaz in the first issue because we never see him again and he didn't add anything to the story.

I'll give it 2 for the art only.

But did you like it more or less that "that movie"?

That's like asking me who I hate more: the first chick who cheated on me or the last one who did. (That's just an example, I hope that hasn't happened to me!)

At least something happened in the movie.

Not a good month for Constantine, all told.

Good of you to point out that the character was from the Un-Men. I had no idea either.
I was thinking that the threat had something to do with using The Green to bio-engineer freaks of nature, like a living hand inside a helmet.
I should have known better than to even give this book that much credit.
Yeah, the threat was basically that LexCorp probably wanted to do something bad because it's LexCorp (the threat is a threat because it's a threat). That's good enough for this book!

Sure, but would one let you play Super Smash Brothers with her while having sex?  You can have fond memories of something that was mostly shit.

This miniseries was such complete and utter crap. Honestly, this was some of the worst Swamp Thing AND the worst John Constantine combined--holy freakin' hell. DC needs to get rid of whoever greenlighted this shit.

Knowing what we do not about the "New 52", my guess is that it was a project that DC didn't really care much about just to get John and Swamp Thing back into DCU continuity before the relaunch.
It was completely unnecessary for those purposes also.
The new Swamp Thing book does use that continuity, but I've found that the title reads better if you pretend that the fact that the major plot point of the new Swamp Thing series is a mystery, rather than seeing it as following directly from the worst mini-series of the year (and perhaps more).
