I had a quick look at the 'Like' options...and managed to remove my own permissions from them so I can no longer see the option on posts.

You should be able to vote posts up or down now with those arrows at the bottom of posts.  I think.

Whenever I get out of the shower it points at me and laughs. I get that enough from my girlfriend thank you.

I voted you down Lou, because you don't use phones to communicate with people on the internet, silly!
I was just testing the new little plaything. Yeah, it works.
They look really annoying on web-sites that utilize them though. Every post, you have people hitting "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" on the posts, and you get people who are all worried about whether they're going to get "thumbs down" for their post. I'm probably going to get "thumbs down" for this post now.
OK, the smileys seem to have disappeared. There was going to be a laughing smiley at the end of that....Use your imagination.

Yes, as long as the ups and downs don't lead to any penalties...but i'll take a free pair of pants.

Is this the case for anyone else ?

When I click on the 'smiley' on the top icon bar of the post section I get a list of the smilies down along the bottom of said box

OK. Nevermind. It's working for me now also. When I clicked the button before, I got a blank space that opened up. Now, it has smileys. :boogie: That was an example.

Ah, now we have dislikes too? I was hoping for just the likes. Getting feedback that many people like your post is positive reinforcement. Not sure I think negative reinforcement is as good an idea.

HA! You got voted down for your comment.
It wasn't me either, I swear. Don't give me a negative vote.

Why are the likes and dislikes quota'd? I was going to meticulously go through each and every post ever posted and either like or dislike them but I had to stop at like 4.

If you click the numbers, it tells you who voted you down. Sorry, Red...heh...

Dammit! It was peer pressure. When I saw everyone else doing it, I was tempted to click the button too.

John, I just noticed that the little one-line explanation under the thread title about what the thread is actually about isn't there anymore.

Is it possible to get these back? Titles like "Never Mind The Backlash" don't really make it clear to newbies (or those with short memories) what's going on in the thread.

I have edited those titles, but note that "tags" provide this service (see Hellblazer forum) and might be a more efficient way forward than having those long mega threads?

So, so very much better on my phone. Haven't decided otherwise. But it's nice to see a bit of fresh paint around the old place.

How low can that red number get to before things start setting themselves on fire? Red's already to -6, and counting. I worry that too low a number could affect his orbital decay and he might crash into us.

For those of us who don't internerd on our phones, can we have the duckshoot menu to move between forums back, please?
