That is a comic I love ( I love that comic ) all you need is Love ( love, love ).

Punktuation, I also like.
Cool. Looks great on a flip through, anyway. I'm sure I can put with the occasional tirade of tiresome magickal whittering for that glorious art...

Occasional?
Oh. You're not very far into the series yet, are you? heh

I have to say that it rates as my very favourite work by Moore, and ranks pretty highly on my list of favourite comic books too.
Come away, O human child
From the waters and the wild;
Take a fairy by the hand,
For the world's more full of weeping
than you can understand...." -W.B. Yeats

Bwahahaha.

Oh dear, I imagine much flapping of gums is going to ensue.

Does he . . . relish this sort of carry-on, do we* think?.

So 2009 & Volume 3 ended up a bit like Time Bandits, didn't it? Sort of disappointing.

It's kind of sad to look at. Gone are the references to bestial gypsy octogenarian ladies of the night to be replaced by jokes being solved by Jack Bauer in 24 hours.

I'm not sure what purpose Nemo served, either.

Sequel fodder for Volume IV, thinks I.

Well that's not terribly like the very same bankrupt pop culture Moore is rejecting, is it?

Also, who was the guy Harry beheaded? He doesn't look like who he's suppose to be.

I liked Century more than Black Dossier and probably more than the IInd volume.

The repeated themes and settings in each issue, the over-inclusive references (although there were rather too many US references in the final episode, harrumph), and the emotional pay off of the reunited trio.

And three excellent cameos of ladies from my childhood entertainment :-)

Didn't look like Voldemort, though. I thought Haddock had jumped into some other Hogwarth faculty member.

This here is a tribute of sorts to the magic of Alan Moore, which some friends and I produced in 2004.
