You mean printing a couple million copies of a book, and having a ton of people who bought those books wanting to unload them, isn't a good equation for making money on an investment? Who'd have ever guessed!
At least when you're stuck with a book whose sole value is in the story, it's a Sandman comic and not an Image book.
I remember when the worth of Spawn #1 hit $75. Now, people are lucky to get $12 for a copy.
