Fuck. One never think that a life, an individual mind can be taken by something mundane and common phenomenon as a traffic accident.
I too, with the aid of your technique, saw him as Constantine. On the other hand, I'm sure there was much more to him than our icon, and I am deeply sorry for your loss.
I wish him, his family and you all the loss of pain that can be achieved without having to resort to drugs, and may he have a bloody good time, wherever he is.

Well said.

Missy was choking back the tears and was very overwhelmed when I showed her the forum banner and all the well wishes from you all.
She's shared it with the family and they send their heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the gesture.
Guys, I can't express to you how much it means to them to know that there are so many good people out there that were touched by Stevhan in some way.
Love you bunch - TB

I am so very sorry. That is just horrible. I'm so glad it helps to know he touched so many people. I wish there were more we could do. Sometimes it helps to talk about the one you've lost. If you haven't already, it might help for you, your wife, and the rest of the family to tell each other stories about him.

Thanks a ton everyone.
If any of you are on a Facebook and are interested, I have posted a Hellblazer Memorial gallery in honor of Stevhan.
It's full of photos and out-takes from our photoshoots between 1998 and 2006.
If you have any trouble accessing it let me know.

I've lost my father and an old friend in the same month earlier this year
My condolences, Stuart. In addition to losing my brother a few years ago, I also lost my father in October. Right now, I guess all of us are feeling our mortality. All I can say is that it DOES get easier to handle...eventually.
I think it helps when somebody is very old when they die. My father was 86 and I was expecting it. But I know that when you lose somebody close to you and they are not old it can be absolutely devastating and I can imagine that's how it is for Stevhan's loved ones. As my own life seems to get a bit better I can feel very keenly for Tim and his family.

Very sad news, Tim. My condolences to you and your family. As others have said, Stevhan came to personify John Constantine for me through your covers. I hope that this part of his legacy will allow his memory to live on beyond just the people who knew him personally.

Very, very sorry for the loss you and your family have suffered, Tim. There's not much I can do or say except add my best wishes to those expressed already. Stick close to those you love and you'll pulll through.
*"Thank you", I said as I left, "I'll be on my way. I see how it is. We are all bourgeois now. And somehow I'll raise myself through the world. I'm free to choose...*

Tim, I've been away from the board for the past several months and just today read about Stevhan's passing. It's a little late, I know, but I still offer my condolences.
