It probably wouldn't be a bad book if it didn't have caricatures of John Constantine and Tim Hunter in it.
Not saying it'd be a great comic, but probably at the very least readable.

I've long-since given up on this terrible, terrible comic- but as a Swamp Thing obsessive, I need your solemn promise that, should the muck-encrusted mockery of what it used to be ever pop up in JLD, someone will tell me, so I can buy just that single issue. Ta!

Ragman would've made a more sutible addition.

Isn't Ragman still in the Shadowpact?
Or did Didio retcon away that particularly crap arsebubble when he cancelled their comic?

I don't think they do.
There's a chance, since I don't think any of the members of the group have appeared in a "New 52" book yet, except Enchantress, so there's a possibility. I'm not sure why they'd keep that bit of old continuity. They haven't been around for five years.
Where is the Detective Chimp monthly anyway?

What? The Trinity War that's upcoming this Summer.

It has continued to lose readers, but not that quickly.
I can't believe the #0 issue didn't lose them more readers. It got a bump, being considered an "event" comic, but then afterwards, they only lost about 700 readers from prior to #0.

Calling it now: Pandora fucked with Barry Allen's timeline (i.e. the Dad killed Mom schtick) in order for the shitty NuDCU to happen.

That sounds about right. They said that Pandora had a large responsibility in the creation of the "New 52". Where that takes things, I don't know.

If it ends in her dying leading to everything being system restored to DC circa 2002, but that's just me dreaming :(

More to the point, WHY? (aside from the Dildo doing it to keep his job when he should be gone)

Long time fans will want to pick up JLD #19 to catch the historic first meeting between John and Swamp Thing. I just read about it online. Should be a classic someday. It's even got the Flash! How awesome is that?
I better stop now before I get called a funny sounding name.

Seriously, Alan Moore must be rolling in his grave. No more Alan Moore Swamp Thing stories in DC continuity this officially means.
Way to go Dilberto! Did I do that right? You know, like the really boring officework themed comic strip. Get it?

So has western culture gotten to the point of substandardly reinventing its mythology because they've run out of new ideas using the established archetypes? Look at most hollywood remakes in which the modern updated characters are hip and shallow, except for love.

Now, I'd like to introduce a new segment for the show. It's entitled "Who Talks Like That?" (the line made famous by Henchman 24, god rest his soul).

Posted Image

"WHO TALKS LIKE THAT?"

(we also included the reintroduction of Demon Constantine, now a byproduct of John's lungblood! Nobody mentioned that!

By the way, I oppose the downloading of comics because it robs profits from the creators who lay their lives on the line for us each and every day, but I have tabled that cause for just this title alone for 2 reasons - 1, I don't want to be seen looking at it in the comic shoppe I attend, and 2, I can't NOT keep up with it because it's like a combination trainwreck/really bad movie/grotesquely obese stripper. I don't want to look at it, but I can't help myself. So, I steal this one comic because I can extract the images I need to make my various grenade lobs with. I don't keep them, I destroy them once jpg extraction is complete. It's for the show, man.

Is John dead then? If you lose enough blood to create a life sized bloody duplicate of yourself...I think it's too late for you.
