It's death by mau mau.

I was thinking Snu-Snu, but Milligan robbed himself of that by his piss-poor writing.

The CBR ones
I hit the front page of that site a couple of times a week to see if they've linked off to any interesting previews (the last one being for JLD, appropriately enough) and I've yet to see any links to a negative review of something, the blurbs tend to read along the lines of "XXX gives the latest issue of YYY four stars saying "I thought it offered a solid story with some above average art!"".

They only seem to do positive reviews, is what I'm saying here.

To be completely fair:

http://www.comicbook..._review&id=4496
http://www.comicbook..._review&id=4484
http://www.comicbook..._review&id=4493

And a few more in the reviews' front page right now score fails as well.

That's just nerd negativity.
Those are obviously rubbish books, probably deserving 0/5 etc and we all know that around 50% of the books they give 3 too are shite.

It is but the issue soon descends into being merely the 2nd least worst issue of JLD so far.

It was very bad. 2nd least worst? How are you able to differentiate the putrid odors of each turd in the JLD shitpile? This turd smells a little better than that one. BAH! They all spillt from the same asshole, they all smell equally bad.

Very much so.
The only things you are missing are things you'd be better off not knowing about.
Some of us (like me!) are wondering why we haven't been able to muster up the fortitude necessary to leave the book behind.
At this point, you might never be able to safely pick up the title again.

Sometimes a character goes through a total collapse before being rebuilt.. it happened to the Punisher in the late 90s, Daredevil became a joke for a while.. maybe this is this for Constantine, or at least we are going towards something like that.. and hopefully someone who cares enough about John will come and breathe new life into him. for some reason Jeff Lemiere comes to my mind, he seems to have an affection for Constantine.. let's hope Milligan writes something truly awful soon, and after that Doug Moench comes around to deal the final blow. Turn John into a vampire and Chas has to kill him with a holy-death gun.

That horrible Punisher story, where he died and became an angel, or something like that...?
Apparently, Marvel wanted to destroy the character so that fans would be that much more excited to see Ennis take over the book.
It's a bizarre marketing tool. It seems more logical to just put the character away for a few years, rather than to try to make fans hate the character before he's rebuilt.
