Guest New 52 John Is The Best

They say, "People think this is based on the comic Hellblazer, but it's really based on the comic Constantine. We fooled you all."

It was me all along! I am bigger than a bread box!

I wonder if John meant to leave this section open to guests.

Seriously though, that doesn't look like Runic script to me. I'm not that familiar with Runes, but I've read some Germanic neo-paganism books.

Those dots and whatever don't seem right for Runic script.

Let me add that I'm not fond of the thought of Runes showing up right away in this, as I like to think of John involved with ceremonial and Goetic magic rather than neo-paganism and the such.

This is what runes look like:

But then again, they're not saying it's runes, they're saying it's "runic script".

Or, that's the message the TV show is trying to give us. A profound message, indeed.

It was bad enough when they said they were using Runes. It was worse when it looked like they couldn,t even be bothered to research actual Runic script. Now, they're using some nerdy video game symbols. Does John have to play the video game to figure out the message?

Do you know that you just posted this on an internet forum dedicated to a (cancelled) comic ?

Well, I was hoping it'd be revealed to be something cool like Cirth.

If it is a cipher, it'd be impossible to decipher, as there's no example and there's no repetition of characters.
