Daniel Cerone, one of the exec producers, has said on twitter that the network is very passionate about the show and that he's hoping they get a full 20+ episode order.

I'd rather a second season of another 13 episodes myself, but if they feel they have that much story to tell then more power to their elbow.

“Constantine” (1.1/4 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) jumped +38% week to week in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.8) to hit its highest rating since its series debut on Oct. 24 (1.4).

“Constantine” retained 85% of its 18-49 lead-in from “Grimm” (1.3), up from last week’s 67% (0.8 vs. 1.2) and its top retention since holding 100% with its series premiere Oct. 28.

“Constantine” will add substantial audience via time-shifting, increasing last week by +81% when L+3 time-shifted viewing was added to this next-day L+SD rating (from a 0.84 to a 1.52).

Regarding the L+3 for A Feast of Friends:

Last week's L+3 Results:

· "Dateline NBC" on Nov. 14 grew by +13% in 18-49 (from a 1.47 to a 1.66) and 668,000 viewers overall (8.0 million to 8.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3, for the biggest Friday "Dateline" total-viewer result since Feb. 4, 2011.

· "Grimm" increased by +70% in 18-49 (from a 1.16 to a 1.97) and 2.2 million viewers overall (5.0 million to 7.2 million)

· "Constantine" grew by +81% in 18-49 (from a 0.84 to a 1.52) and more than 1.4 million viewers overall (3.5 million vs. 4.9 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

We just may hit the 5M mark for Danse Vaudou's L+3 come next saturday

would be neat, if we would go beyond the 5M. also:

Non Est Asylum (24/10/2014)-

Overnight/Final: 4.3 Million Viewers (1.4); Live +3: 6.2 Million Viewers (2.0); Overall Total*: 7.1 Million Viewers (2.2 in Live+7 and 2.5 in Alt. Platform)

do the L+3 include the overnight viewers? if so then why doesn't the L+7? how does the overall number add up??

L+3 tallies the DVR ratings within 3 days; the same with L+7 as it all boils down to the Neilson Research group. I'm hoping for another update L+7 and Alt. Platform press release for the others episodes since the PRs last three weeks seemed to focus more on the L+3.

So, still growing then. I hope NBC execs are paying attention to that.

Seems to have grown on live views but fewer +3 and don't know about + 7

I presume this Thanksgiving Friday is not the best week for viewing figures?

I have no idea what Americans get up to on Thanksgiving except turkeys.

Despite everyone being down last night, our boy managed to be #2 on the timeslot (and back at 0.9 from 5 weeks ago) while a repeat of CBS' Hawaii Five-0 came dead last

This Friday's Black Friday, FWIW.

Plus the 6pm shopping from Thanksgiving night, too. Then there's those who went to predominent black owned shops as part of the boycotting the major stores in light of the recent episode of The Ferguson Follies

“Constantine” (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) equaled the show’s average rating of its prior four telecasts in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9), despite this week’s holiday distractions.

“Constantine” maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9) and adults 25-54 (1.2 vs. 1.2), despite the 10 p.m. hour. In women 25-54 , “Constantine” grew by +18% half-hour to half-hour (from a 1.1 to a 1.3)

.

“Constantine” will add substantial audience via time-shifting, increasing on average this season by +70% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.10 to a 1.87) and 2.0 million viewers overall (3.5 million to 5.5 million) when L+7 time-shifted viewing is added to these next-day L+SD results.

So with that, Danse Vaudou's L+3 surpassed my twitter prediction of 4.9-5.1 Million

I wonder how many people were like me, in that I had my parents in town and this type of show is definitely not their bag. I saved it for a Walking Dead double header.

Comments seem to indicate that WB is the one denying the cancellation, whilst trying to move Constantine to a different network/venue.

TVBTN is too biased and ignorant for their own good to where they hate being proved wrong just like when FOX defied their cancellation prediction regarding Brooklyn Nine-Nine last season by renewing it. Just for that, most info for the remaining 7 episodes will come from The Futon Critic

Daniel Cerone made the mistake of engaging with that chap's twitter account, so it's gotten a little personal - both sides might be secretly happy that they can ride the 'feud' for a little more traffic but it's all very unedifying.

There's a stink of desperation to a lot of the official #saveconstantine tweets, almost come across a little like Chuggers chasing you down the street trying to shove their shitty little clipboard in your face! Half-expecting Cerone to start calling me on the half-hour asking why I haven't watched the latest fucking episode yet. If at any point he endorses some kind of fan campaign ("Send NBC disposable lighters!") you can take it as read that the series is done.

More like I made the mistake more than Cerone. I engaged the Cancel Bear first...

Went to Cerone's twitter, to look for that spat, but got distracted by the aforementioned stink of desperation. I mean, what the man's doing is so very commendable, and I'm sure he's doing it partly out of loyalty to all the jobs [his included] that depend on Constantine, but he really oughta tone it down a notch, this is reaching "doth protest too much" levels.

If someone went on twitter implying that my work was substandard, I might also take time to encourage the (many more) people who liked it to #saveAHeathen which is what he's doing.
