I am definitely interested in a Grant Morrison Green Lantern run.

Me too.

(I haven't bothered with the Green Lantern franchise for the most part since Geoff Johns ended his run, but Morrison definitely would be one way to pique the interest again)

Since The Hellblazer didn't have that FINAL ISSUE notice included in its last solicit that the cancelled series usually get, I'm thinking that it's going to be skipping a few months before returning with a new creative team. Some of DC's other Rebirth books have gotten this treatment -> skipping a month or two before resuming.

I don't think I've ever bought a Green Lantern comic in my life. I might have read one or two

Morrison on GL sounds great, i will totally read that.

Maybe Hellblazer will move back to Vertigo where it belongs

The last period of Green Lantern I read was the Steven Englehart run from during the 1980s, I do believe. I bought up the back-issues because it was Englehart. Those were really good comics.

I also really like the Silver Age Green Lantern comics, written by John Broome. Those are really fun. I got those in the Showcase Presents editions.

Then, of course, there's the Denny O'Neil Green Arrow/Green Lantern run, which was more about Green Arrow than Green Lantern, but that counts too.

So, I haven't read any GL books as they were shipping new, only in buying back-issues.

I haven't read a lot of other Green Lantern comics, but Morrison on any comic series increases my interest for the character.

This, really. Plus with GL he can get all cosmic and weird.

I keep thinking about that Nameless comic and how weird and nice an approach that would be for something like GL. I'm starting to get excited about this.

As weird as this? Hal Jordan: Pervert!

I would have expected that sort of behavior from Guy Gardner,  but not you Hal Jordan.

Not sad in the least. However, this does bring up that proposed relaunch of Vertigo Comics which was supposed to take place later in this year. If that does still happen, there's a chance that DC wants to bring Hellblazer back to Vertigo now.

Although, I haven't heard anything about DC wanting to give any precedence to Vertigo again in months. What with their new "Black Label" and the new Sandman line of books, I could see DC not bothering with Vertigo anymore.

See ya. If you're not going to do it justice then just don't do it.

I got the other cover, obviously.
Yesterday on the bus, two young gents used "fam" and "bruv" in polite conversation.

It's remarkable how much they allowed the inking and colouring to spoil the art on this.
The two page spread of Constantine's This Is Your Life is nice enough if a little too much like Continuity Porn.

Then sadly we get soft porn Nergal and Ames.

The final scene sets up really nicely, and then I am not sure what t say about the last page.
it looks a little like someone thought to do  tribute to Warren Pleece and John Higgins.
Knowing that this arc is meant as a finale, I could have condensed The last 10 issues into about four or five then had London Mob Hellblazer for the remainder. It feels unsatisfactory and overlong right now.
