Sean Phillips posted this variant cover on Twitter:

I can't get the current version of the forum software to embed Sean's tweet, so what you're looking at is my scaled-down version. The original in all its Phillipsian glory can be seen at https://twitter.com/seanpphillips/status/936642752263147520

He's also tweeted work-in-progress shots of other variant covers.

Almost enough to bring a tear to an old man's eye seeing Sean's Constantine again, his cover for #109 played a significant part in my discovering the character.

Sean was by FAR my favorite Hellblazer artist, with probably Manco as runner up.  Remember when Constantine actually had good, quality artists drawing his title on a regular basis?  If only we had that now.  :puke:

Just imagine being someone who sees and picks up a gorgeous Sean Phillips The Hellblazer variant on the shelves, with no idea of the Davide Fabbri art waiting for him on the inside!

Nice to own this cover, and do you know what, this was badly paced all over the place, but actually the second best issue of the story arc 3/10

Thank goodness for DCU CROSSOVERS !!! Is that right, did someone say that was happening?

No. The comic is still awful, and Philips was just doing the alternate cover. The interior artwork still looks like a Saturday morning cartoon show.

Remember the old adage, that Adrian chooses to negate, "Never judge a book by its cover". The alternate cover may look pretty, but everything else is still pure garbage.

I did not judge the book by its cover, I merely judged them independently of each other.
