But it's not even finished !

Personallly I think it's well worth the fiver anyway, if only for the bits where he talks about how he put various pages together.

I thought it was Dan Dare Vs His own Inner Turmoil.

you know i remember reading a recent Dan Dare story where they were breeding Meakons in for some sort solient green food situation. If anyone can point me in the direction of where i might be finding said tale i'd be mighty greatful, so's i would.

That's the battle where everyone loses. :(

Now, here's something odd. A StarHyke fansite with fanfiction. Presumably set up by that fat bloke who plays the comedy retard.

How can there be a fansite for something maybe only 50 people have ever seen,

I want to go to Brighton, its closer to me than Bristol and its a much cooler city, the cons meant to be bigger as well but i don't think i will be able to afford it at that time of year.

At very least you can come to Brighton for a day, Matt.

I'll be going along (will have to sell some Just 1 Pages somehow !)

So while browing through Leah Moore's blog, I saw this picture from the Bristol con -

...and thought, no fucking way, I think I used to work with that dude. Sure enough, a few e-mail later and it's all confirmed, he used to work here at the Times as a web designer.

It was only after seeing that picture that I remembered catching a glance of someone who kind of reminded me of a guy I used to work with in the Ramada bar.

The right.

We worked together for two years and used to go for pints a fair bit, never realised he was into comics though - the piece of paper on the table reads "Hellblazer meets somefinkorotherthatIcan'tmakeout" which adds another level of weird synchronicity to the story.
