What exactly is the Ace of Winchesters? I heard it's the shotgun from the movie but that thing doesn't look like it belongs in Hellblazer.

Overview: A western rifle made of halo-steel and hades-gems, bound with ivory of saints, the Ace of Winchesters was forged by an occultist who saw service with the Texas Rangers. The man sold his soul to create the gun and designed it to blast the life out of anything, including mystic creatures. Still today, it is the only weapon known to permanently exterminate Demons of Hell. In recent years, the Ace was acquired by the English occultist John Constantine, who later sold it to the Gotham Museum of Antiques. When Hitman Tommy Monaghan tried to get hold of the Ace in order to kill the Nazi demon known as Mawzir, he discovered that the Mawzir had assigned Catwoman to steal the gun. In an attempt to keep it away from Hitman, the Mawzir had hid the Ace of Winchesters in Hell and in the protection of the demonic Arkannone. Teaming up with Etrigan and Baytor, Hitman retrieved the Ace and used it to kill Mawzir.

First Appearance: Hellblazer #76 (April 1994)

I didn't think the Ace of Winchesters ever actually appeared in Hellblazer: isn't it just mentioned in passing when Constantine's out getting drunk with the late Brendan Finn?

Oh come on. Constantine spends an entiure page in The Spectre lying in a pool of his own vomit and urine. How much better, and true to character, could it possibly get?
