Road to Perdition Complete Collection

This basically plugs the massive glaring holes in my graphic novel and comic collection; you'll notice the complete Cerebus, every Authority GN published and every non-collected Hellblazer. Some things aren’t out yet and are just there to remind me to pick them up eventualy. I was going to do what I did last year, a massive Mile High order the month before the con, but Mile High have jacked up their prices to the point where its actually cheaper to buy comics in this country, shocking.

What I was hoping was that we could have a meeting of want lists and I could get a peek at what everyone else is out and about looking for or dreaming about at the moment, so I get a few more ideas. What this will do is allow me to compile an even more comprehensive ubër want list of stuff I want.

Matt always seems to buy at least half the trades available in Bristol.

I'll have to come back to this as, a couple of Hellblazer issues aside, I don't think there's anything I'm really looking for at the mo.

Matt, it's a shame you only mentioned this now - I gave away my copy of Zero Girl to a library a few months back.

I might have duplicates of those Hellblazer issues, but I'll have to check later on tonight.

Matt always seems to buy at least half the trades available in Bristol.

you're going to be disgusted with me this year, unlike last year I actually have quite a lot of money, and i mean a lot, to waste on this weekend. to the point where i'm a bit concerned about getting my purchases back on the train.

Giving things to charity James? have you learned nothing.

By the way, if anyone wants the truly atrocious - er, I mean really GREAT - "Batman: The Return of Hush" or some manga bollocks called "Category: Freaks", I can bring them along to Bristol and hand them out for free.

Otherwise they'll go on my "to sell on Ebay whenever I can be arsed" pile.

Anyone know any decent places to pick up old issues of Hellblazer besides ebay?

Milehighcomics.com, maybe, though they can be expensive.

Look for actual comic book shops selling back issues through e-bay and contact them via e-mail - that's how I bought like 50 issues of Shade.

Got it free to review from Leeds Guide. Not even Hush, mind you, but the shite sequel.

One star.

My list is small because I got into the game late. But once I lock into something, I'll obsess on it until it's complete in one way or another. I'm not financially positioned in such a way that I will buy trades of something if I have it completely in single issues. That's why I don't have many of the new HELLBLAZER trades because I have all of Carey's & Azarello's run (though I picked up HARD TIME and GOOD INTENTIONS used last year).

I need one more of the Ellis STORMWATCH trades to have his run on that title.

The 3rd or 4th Authority trade (I'm drawing a blank, currently, and I'm too lazy to go look).

Delano's HELLBLAZER run.

Jenkins HB run.

30 DAYS OF NIGHT first trade.

I'm missing THAT YELLOW BASTARD and don't remember to whom I lent it.

SHAWN of the DEAD trade.

The second STAR WARS TALES trade.

That's all I can recall OTTOMH...

Is that the original lovely, chunky version with the Frank Miller cover? If so... ouch!

I really really want Sandman #3.

And Punisher Vol. 1 #2 as it would complete my Vol. 1 collection.
