Me too. That's a great piece. Some of the comments added by Mooreheads are fun as well...

Nope, this is a discussion, where we discuss things. This has been established on many occasions.

People who comment on items eg that which we were discussing are IDIOTS.

So, guys, anyone following Multiversity and/or Annihilator? How did you guys like Happy? Was Batman Inc. a worthy ending to his saga? When's that WW book coming out, and what will it be called, even?

Sure am loving Multiversity.

What is Annihilator?

Happy was just OK. Neat little tale.

Loved Batman Inc. Even more than the regular title he did (and that was awesome too)

He's doing Wonder Woman?

Batman inc was pretty great. Soon as the

katherine kane

issue, I was hooked. Multiversity's pretty good so far, only 2 issues in but solid. Last one reminded me a bit of James Robinson's new Earth 2 but a bit better honestly.

Have you lot read Supergods?

Annihilator's his [gorgeous] 6-issue mini from Legendary Pictures Comics, it's very meta, as er usual, a bit Sunset Blvd, a bit Adaptation, a bit Last Acton Hero, a bit Signal to Noise.

And he's had a WW OGN in production for some 5-6 years now, it was supposed to be All Star WW, then it got relegated to WW: Earth One, but now it's gonna be called something else entirely, I think. It was supposed to be done by Adam Hughes, I believe, but now he's working on it with Yanick Paquette.

I liked Supergods a lot, Vagabond.

Oh yeah, the imaginary horse one. I enjoyed it fine at the time, but obviously it was fairly forgettable.

Annihilator, as always, covers the same meta-ground re: fiction vs. reality, but the art and the mood plus two extra issues really make it seem it will be a bit more substantial than Happy. Though as usual, waiting for a trade isn't a dumb option.

Well, check out the online previews, it's a bit 'grim' but I'm feelin' it.

I don't know. I don't consider it must-read or must-own material. Worth a digital read if you can jack a copy.

dogpoet - were you asking about Happy (which was underwhelming, I concur), or The Annihilator?

Ah, I'm digging Multiversity, hell - I even feel lucky to have two Morrison's books each month to read. It is very much a companion piece/sequel to Final Crisis and to a lesser degree, Action Comics, plus the artwork is getting better and better with each new artist [didn't care too much for it in the first issue, but now we're getting to the good stuff].

Strangely, I was planning to wait for a collection of that anyway...

I thought Spider J. was supposed to be a skinnier, defolliculated Ellis? Morrison is King Mob, tho.
