Fan Made Films

Recommended Posts

It used to be that fake trailers for an upcoming blockbuster would proliferate very wildly and most of them were bad. But now that Youtube has been around a while and AfterFX and Premiere and Final Cut (etc. etc. etc.) are taught in junior highschool, the quality of these trailers and fan films is a lot better. However, my focus is how ambitious some of these closet Ridley Scotts and backyard Chris Nolans are, some of these guys are making whole movies, not just trailers now.

(check out all the indie low budget zombie flicks down the right side, most are complete films.

the mucous membrane one. I just scanned the comic in and did frame by frame transitions in Moviemaker to the music. not anything impressive at all, BUT people seem to flock to it, especially in Brazil.

Even though this features some of the original cast members, this is technically a fan film, if not the jewel in the crown of fan films.

And let the Episode 7 fanmade trailers flood the Tubes of You!

Here it is! Some friends of mine run a wee film company here in Iowa. Most are geeks like myself. So, I was asked to be in it as one of the Joker's thugs. I've never acted before. It was fascinating, amazing and nerve racking. It was also on one of the windiest, coldest nights this season. In short, and with pride I say, Batman kicked my ass. I'm the guy with the winter cap, being assaulted by the vigilante by railing.
