I started buying trades of this comic recently and I must say I am well impressed. It steals a lot of ideas, of course, but it makes for an unreal amount of compelling reading. It's a horrifically intense read as well - I don't think I've ever gotten so worked up over reading a comic as when Rick and Tyreese fought in the prison.

Still have to buy the next two volumes, but that will happen before long :)

Great match to watch. I thought Heinze had an excellent game last night. Considering that it was a total makeshift defence, he mopped everything up and came out of it with more scars than Bruce Willis out of a Die Hard movie.

My real name's Bob but I have a certain fondness for the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes cartoons (hence my display name) :)

 

I write prose and music but am still sadly a wage slave until one of these avenues of expression bears fruit...

 

Just been browsing this forum and, my word, there are some terribly intelligent and lovely people here...
