I think as long as you go into the movie with the expectation of just having a fun night of watching cool special effects and an entertaining movie you'll enjoy yourself. I mean, I don't think anyone really expected Constantine to be the end all and be all of movies -- infact, most Marvel movies aren't really suppose to be that way. Its all just about a fun night at the movies, which I would argue Constantine is successful at accomplishing. I had fun watching it. Even the parts where you think they were trying to be serious, but were just unintentionally funny, those were pretty cool too. My only regret right now is that a friend of mine told me about some sort of "after credit" footage. The kind of stuff that editors like to do sometimes. i didn't stick around for it because I didn't know it was there...but I don't know, if I ever have to take a friend to see it again, def gonna check it out.

I saw an early screening of the movie. Its pretty cool. I wasn't a Hellblazer fan before this, but I've always liked that sort of an idea -- demon hunter / noir officer thing. Does anyone know how closely this movie stayed to the feel of the comic series? God in a chess game, eh?
