  1. I got to be Catwoman - friend to kitties last night. Late on two little Polish children came knocking at my back door. I don't speak Polish, they don't really speak English. But when one little girl pointed at the garage next door and said "mini cat, is trap!" I leaped over the wall to the mite's aid.

The man who owns the garage had put a piece of wood under the door to stop the cats getting in - but this one was already in so couldn't get out. I managed to get his number, call him up, explain about the puddy, and get permission to knock out the bit of wood to free the kitten. (It wasn't easy, either, I needed a hammer and a mallet. The little Polish children didn't help.  )

Twenty minutes later and they're knocking at my door again, clutching a raggy and pathetic looking kitten. "Is ok!" they told me. So, that's my good deed for the year.

You´re the real catwoman. But I´m not Batman. Was a bit wet around my eyes when I read your story. Let this be said from Dogboy...

  2. Welcome back Oldmoore, how have you been?

That game sounds interesting and would have really appealed to me about 10 years ago but I really don't have the time to get into RPGs nowadays.

Thanks, I´ve doen well. Not much coming around, just working, not much private life, but I´m happy to have work these days. I´ve been busy to keep warm my place means getting wood, slash it into pieces. The one thing I got on was buying a Gamecube because John said Resident Evil would be a hell of fun. It´s is. I´m playing it since about two weeks (but only on the weekend.)So, all is doing well in my life...

  3. so what would you do to keep the book from avoiding such a fate.

I would make more quality for less price! No..seriously not everthing that has a good qualtity easily sells good! All we can do is keep on buying it and so support the series!

I will buy when the Trade about the Mina Run comes out! Every single issue here´s hard to find or too expensive to buy and I only read the Orginal Sin and the whole Ennis Trades! Now I heading for Mina´s (and I really hope it comes) !Thank you that I kept updated with Hellblazer by this side.

  4. Yet I didn´t read the house of M. I´m heading for. Just read the final part of "Astonishing X MEN - Dangerous"! Liked it! Rasputin is again in the astonishing team! I also like the new costumes! Redesigned or modified from the good old days into modern days!An eyecatcher except Cyclops gothic baby outfit (black with golden stripes)!

  5. Movies style´s great. Saw a trailer about this movie and hoped I wouldn´t have a epileptic seizure!Too much effects.

Typical Reeves movie. Style at its best but maybe in cost of the story (also typical Reeves when I think of his last movies).

  6. Just finished Conqueror Worm from Mignola. Great I loved it! I read it in the english edition. There are translated here on the market but they are printed in b/w, but I like the colours of the orginal american issue.

Also read Seed of Destruction. Next one I´ll pick up is"Wake the devil"!

RA RA RASPUTIN...It´s a favourite song here from the 70´s!(You know what I mean)

  7. Graet pics! The huge Hb is a bit too big for me. Have no room for the 18 one. I´m still looking for the little exclusive with coat! But I´m sure he´ll find his way to me...

  8. To all the U.S.and Canadian fellows. I´d really like to buy a figure from the new Hellboy comic series.

It´s the Mezco Direct exclusive 8 inch Hellboy with trenchcoat and unopened mouth but I can´t order it, because I live in Germany and they only send it to the U.S or Canada by the Mezco Store

Could someone do me a favor and get this thing for me and send it via Airmail to me? If you have a Paypal account it would be the easiest way :excl:

  9. Your political compass

    Economic Left/Right: -5.38

    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.54

I´m a communism anachist. I better stay in my homeland. Here I´m able to and maybe I´ll start a succesfull political career with a mix of a Marx(not the Brothers!) and Ramones message!

    Test is a good one!

  10. Mark was doing his duty as watchman while the rest of the band tried to plot their escape.

Pirate number one "Arrrgh Cap'n Marrrrk, ye still can't grow 'n 'onest pirate bearrrrd, i sees. Arrrh".

Other pirate scallywags. " "

Captain Marrrrk " Mr Moon, I think we have this months ships-whore, get him clean and don't spare the Lysol and wire-brush!".

Excellent looking Fyord-sailing photo mark, mate. Doesn't look like you had much wind though?.

LOL ! AGAIN HA HA HA HA HA HA

  11. Ralph Fiennes did a very good job, Neeson like he always does and the red girl left me for a moment speechless.

The only thing I don´t like that there are a lot of films and reports every year here in Germany on TV or the big screen which tell tales of the Hitler era. We´ve much more history than that and so Terry Gilliam has to tell a fictional tale of the Brothers Grimm.

Of course it isn´t historical but I think it´s tailored for grown ups who used to read their fairy tales in childhood days.Germans grown ups should set their focus on more than the NS Regime era!

  12. Defender of the lost tapes a watcher would rent at last?

No can´t say that. Both movies I haven´t seen yet.

Madsen had a short appearance! Can´t say much about it. I liked Bruce more than Marv. Ok like I said the before Sin City didn´t give me much but the end with "...a good deal!" was like that what we´re exspecting from Bruce Willis since "Armageddon". It wasn´t something new, but it had something.

  13. Oldmoore, you haven't been around much, have you.  Take care of yourself and stick around.

Yes, I´m having a little breakdown in the moment. Getting up in the morning comes hard and I´m tired all the day. Actually I will never forget my medicine. I have to take it because without it a day wouldn´t be managed. I brings me down in the evening. But I´m trying to drink less coffee so the mental drugs are working better. But it gives me more time to relax and also sadly I´m feeling tired. During the weekend we made ready our wood for the winter but we´ve had mechanical of a wood crasher and human help by a good friend of the family. Made it 3 hours a day and now we only have to move one tree from a neighbour city to crash it! Then the fire for this winter is save.

The dogs are allright. With the older dog called Don I was out in the woods in a natureprohibited area which is just a few steps behind the house. Never seen before but now it´s a good way for walking with this 6 years old wise, heavy and sleepy dog!

Josh , thank you for welcome me again and all the best for you, by the way!Today I´m going to a meeting with some rehabilited mental patients! I´m a bit excited to hear the news of them how they manage their lives outside the hospital. I´m out since 2001 after being very very hard mental ill! But I made no great steps back just little by little going forward. Found a few people in this city (which isn´t my hometown) who are standing 100 percent behind me and that´s what I´ll do for them also! It´s good to be in life with ups and downs. Forget about the rest!
