and I'm reading a couple of snippets suggesting that the US Government has banned SF from fund raising in the States but I can't find any real confirmation of that anywhere.
I'm trying to think how the federal government could do that. The only thing that immediately springs to mind is declaring the IRA a terrorist organization

I actually enjoyed Alien V Predator. Kind of hard to listen to abuse from someone who never watched it.
It's wasn't no Oscar winning film, and it won't please the factoid geeks who cry about consistancy (which can be me if it's something I care about), but as a no brainer, sunday afternoon, enjoyable flick, it works.
And predator 2 sucked big time, so this critic has no credability for me.

Well, I bit the bullet, and watched it last night.
Not as bad as I was expecting.
I kinda decided before I watched it that it wasn't a Hellblazer movie, and just watched it as a movie.
It was OK.
Keanu can't act, it was painful to watch some scenes. Why did he try and talk so slowly?
Other than that, not too bad at all. Gabrielle was great, as was the Devil, mainly because they hammed it up a bit.
Some nice effect touches too.
Will consider buying the DVD when it comes out, if I can get ti cheap.

My girlfriend dragged me into a shop doorway in snowy London just to get her first kiss.

I'm a 31 year old Scotsman living down London way. Used to read a lot of comics years ago, but left that behind when I left Scotland. Now starting to build up my collection again (when money allows, I'm skint) the TPB way (I'm lazy as well).
Don't know how long I'll be able to access this forum before work bans it, so I may vanish again just as mysteriously.
