basically one of Johns demon offsprings convinced gemma´s dad to kill cheryl and then he killed himself (i think), then john went to hell to reclaim his sister´s soul but she decided to stay with his husband in hell.

 

Cheryl dies at the end of reasons to be cheerful (issue 205), while the whole John going to hell tosave her takes place in the "down in the ground where dead men go" story arc (issues 207-212)

I fell out of Hellblazer for some time and started back up a year ago. So can someone tell me what happened to Gema's Mother and Father. I mean I know that John sends them to hell but how did it happen?
