I've read "All His Engines". I enjoyed it, but it doesn't change the fact that it's the worst value for money when it comes to story length.

Potential sucky movie or not, no one can deny that most costumes look good. My favourites costumes are of Rorschach and Doctor Manhattan. Nite Owl doesn't look too bad.

I saw Over the Hedge with my kid sisters. I'll give it a B+ just because of a hilarious dog scene in the middle (well, I found it funny since I have a dog with a similar attitude), it's always great to see flicks from an animal's perspective. Recommended if you love animals or if you watch it with an animal lover or with children.

The Man from Earth A For me it's quite "innovative", I've never actually seen a movie where the characters just discuss. Try doing Star Wars, Star Treck or Doctor Who without any special effects Possibly one of the best science fiction movies of last year.

 

Prince Caspian B It would have been an A if it weren't for a particular scene in the middle and over-abundance of special effects with the tiles in the beginning.

 

Cannibal Holocaust B Quite enjoyable, didn't like the extreme animal cruelty that there was and frankly the ending was a bit shite. Did people actually think that was real cannibalism there?

 

Meet the Spartans C These comedy movies always manage to continue running with a joke that stopped being funny in the previous five minutes.
