Oh Wow. Didn't see this coming. I really didn't but delighted to see this. I wonder if this could be the way forward for it. A new series every 2 years or so considering they did that Suicide Squad mini the other year which I bet took ages to get together.

See Matt Ryan is back again as John Constantine for some short Constantine animated film early next year for DC called 'Constantine: House of Mystery'.
Don't know much but its here - https://www.cinelinx.com/movie-news/dc-announces-four-new-animated-films-1-short-for-2022/

I heard the same myself about a hour ago and popped on to say a few words.
I did really enjoy City of Demons, his mini series with Sean Murphy. I am sure I read somewhere that this was a trial run but they went with Peter Milligan instead. I think i would have liked to have seen a extended run by these two but alas not meant to be.
There's a rumour going round that Aaron Campbell has a new big project coming out with DC Comics shortly on a different note too.

Not sure to be honest here, I'll give it a look thou. Hope it doesn't mean the end of the monthly but if it doesn't, it's a sign that Hellblazer must be doing okay as a monthly and that's good news.

Agreed John here. It's been since Hellblazer 250 the last time I was here, maybe longer. I remember getting Milligan's run but it never did a lot for me, and the least said about the three attempted reboots the better (the third one got off to a reasonable start but drifted quickly - this however), but that's a great scene above. I can't wait for issue 7 at the end of the month and I never thought I would say that again about Hellblazer. A really lovely surprise.

I've not posted on this forum in a long, long time - pretty sure since the original run and considering I hadn't really enjoyed any of the three previous attempted relaunches and had enjoyed all of the first five episodes in this series, but this... Now this was the first real classic issue I had read in a long, long time. It had a parellel to me for Hold Me in places, but the team seemed totally connected here and the use of Noah for the first time didn't make miss Chas too much. Excellent stuff 10/10.

I must admit I really enjoyed the issue... I do get the feeling that this issue is going to wind up a lot of loose ends that have existed for many years in Hellblazer.. I can't remember who posted recently that they thought they hoped Mike would give Denise a clean slant to start off with.. I certainly think it is heading that way... And to give Mike credit, he is playing around with over 20 years of history here and mostly making it work brilliant...

Dear all;
I'm a new member but a long standing reader of Hellblazer (1993 or so) - have been following bits on here for ages now..
Have been interested in reading Denise Mina's name as writing Hellblazer... So interested I went out and got hold of one of her books "Sanctum" and quite enjoyed it... No idea how this will translate to Hellblazer as a comic but the book is certainly gritty and dark and painted a nice bleak picture of Glasgow.. Has anybody else read it?

With the specter of mortality breathing down his neck, John heads to the Big Easy, where he enlists the skills of old friend Clarice Sackville to heal the fractured mind of Alec Holland, the Swamp Thing, and use that elemental power to kickstart his own dead heart. Perhaps she can do that—but it will require a drug-induced journey into distant realms that’ll shake John to his rotten core. And meanwhile, Nat and Noah learn the magical lengths Clarice is willing to go to in order to extend her own terrifyingly long life…
