I think the best thing about Mofatt wil be an intolerance for silly little faith destroying loopholes.

If he writes tight plots, I can't see him tolerating slapdash ones from his team.

He wants to live in London, and Brixton's a melting pot with a bit of life to it, without being too overdeveloped and wanky.

I could do this all day.

Richard Wilsons transformation looked a bit Chris Cunningham which was VERY cool.

And the Purple alert was cool. "Red's a bit camp" Indeed.

I thought I'd vote Arsenal despite having seen the game, in the hope I appear psychic.

Loved it. The fact arsenal didn't deserve to win made it even sweeter!

Completely addicted. I do at least the 2 hardest in the Independent, Super Sudoku on a Saturday (4x4 grids=frustrating), and fiddle about with the ones in the papers in the staff room at work on my lunch.

It's brilliant, but endlessly frustrating. Can do a normal one in about 15 minutes on a good day now though.

I couldn't find the old thread, and thought I's start a new one to discuss it now that it's seeable.

What an amazing film. I've only ever read one of the trades of SC, but the directors have captured the tone and look perfectly. The cast look astounding, some of the shots actually look like panels, ands Marv's 1st action scene is one of the most hardcore I've ever seen!

I know you are all going to see this anyway, all I can add is, book another ticket for a few days later, you'll want to see it again.

The links on the page suggest the director, although I can only hope Goldsman isn't involved. With him and Michael Howard in the world it's a wonder that anti semitism isn't more widespread.

Chuck Palahniuk's "Survivor"

Well, Chuck is finally able to answer that question. At his recent appearance at the Chicago Book Fair, Chuck said that the Survivor movie now will be made into a film! It sounds like the Jake Paltrow screenplay is out, since he said the team behind the upcoming film Constantine, starring Keanu Reeves, want Survivor to be their next project. Chuck has already signed the contract sent his way and the screenplay is being adapted as you read this. Who knows though how long it will be until actual filming begins. And don’t forget, these things have a way of dying before they even get to the next phase. So don’t hold your breath until the film officially gets a greenlight.
