I saw the movie when it came out but I was like 10 so I didn't understand who the character was until I was like 13 then I realized that movie fucked up so much. As for Milligan I'll still probably look into that as I continue collecting because I mean I understand he was not very well received in Hellblazer but it's still continuity. Just gotta keep an open mind when going into it since I've heard such bad things

Thanks Red, yea I've been understanding a lot of people don't like Milligan but I always like to give something a chance and I will definitely look into the rest of the books you suggested (I have Original Sins, Reasons to be Cheerful, and The Gift) and also yea I am gonna keep following from the beginning but I was just curious about any stories in particular that I should look forward to reading as I collect :) and you guys have given me a lot to look forward to so thank you I'm actually more excited now

I've always been interested in the character of John Constantine, but beyond him being a con man and a magician or warlock of sorts I did not really know much so I decided to do a lot of research on him and was instantly hooked and have been buying a lot of Hellblazer which is now become my new obsession. One thing I am curious about is what do other fans think of Constantine for the new 52? Because sometimes characters in the new 52 don't get the proper treatment or live to their full potential in my opinion. So how is it? Also, while I'm slowly collecting more and more Hellblazer (really looking forward to his later stuff with Epiphany Greaves ^-^ I'm a sucker for crazy girls with different colored hair and piercings lol) I was wondering what specific storylines should I look forward to?
