The idea is that he ends up where he's supposed to be without going through all of the stages of getting there. So maybe his day was originally going to start with him trying to catch a bus, but he'd end up catching a taxi instead. Then the taxi would crash and the other driver would turn out to be someone he hadn't seen for years. In the "synchronicity highway" version, he zips forward so he's stood at the crash without all of the annoying bits inbetween. Bascially, he gets from A to Z without passing through points B-Y, although as far as the universe is aware, he did everything as he was supposed to.

John can do werid stuff.

how many ghosts are in his Ghostly entourage?, I picked up a few of trade paperbacks, I counted about 20,

I read about the order of st oran, I kinda figure it out. the ghost that follow old John boy around are they real ghost or just the sum of his guilt? I personaly think it is his guilt but someone told me that it was real ghosts.

on John's wiki page its says that he is a member of The Order of St Oran, what is the order? is it just a few mages that drink togather?

so God in hellblazer, is not the All-knowling, all Loving, God in christianity.

also are there other gods in Hellblazer like the norse gods?

its my fault I saw the movie before I read the comics, so my mind is tainted by the movie, I trying to cure myself by read the comics more.

in the movie, Constantine stands in a puddle of water and then he in hell, can he do that in the comics?

also it says, he blackmails God and the Devil, can someone explains that? did he actually blackmail God?

I think it was somewhere in "The books of magic" but re-reading, but it might of a mistake on my part

anyway Hellblazer is awesome

so I finally got few hellblazer comics, as I was reading, John boy makes a refence to knowing/having a mystic panther.

so does john have a some kind of mystic panther? is it the one that lives in the dreaming?

I was watching the last ep of Justice league unlimted, and I was thinking

what if Constantine was a member of the Justice League ?, but being John, he would be kicked out within a week.

At the end of Delano's run, he does something unspecified with his twin brother (who had survived in a parallel dimension) that looks like they may be merging into one being.

 

In Ennis' run he forfiets his soul to the First by insulting him but then sells it to the Second and Third, forcing them to heal him. This came undone when the First found out that he could kill the Second and Third.

 

Then he carved out the worst bits of his personality (but not his soul) as well as his physical dependencies and put them into animate form. He then tricked this golem into merging with Alestair Crowley, so that when it went to Hell, Crowley's soul would suffer the agonies and not his duplicate.

 

In the latest storyline he gave his soul over to the keeper of the Third Place, which is the light at the end of the tunnel that is seen by many when having near-death experiences. However, his soul was still owed to the First along with a newly-regenerated Second and Third. The reasons for their return are unknown, but we have been assured by the author (via one of our regulars) that there is a reason.

sorry I have one more question about John's soul,

so let get this straight, John sold his soul to the 2nd and 3rd of the fallen, then they healed him

then he sent part of his soul to hell, i.e demonic John. Then he join his soul with his dead twin, The golden boy, and Demonic John. now to save a new group of friend John sold to the first of the fallen.

do I have it right ?

as far as I been reading Hellblazer, I kinda hoping it will be bettersweet. maybe instead of going to hell or heaven, maybe John end up in limbo.

I have a few Hellblazer/John Constantine questions

1. does John have an addiction to magic or is it just a thrill addiction?

2. has John ever use drugs? if so which ones?

3. has John ever used the holy shot gun or anything other stuff he used in the movie, in the comics?

4. has there ever been a character like Beeman ( he is from the movie) in the comics?
