Here's some of my new stuff:

graphite 8b, no reference used, made up stuff as I kept drawing it

ink applied with a really tiny brush, no reference used

graphite 8b, a skewed copy of a photo

I'm back. The past yea has been a real hell, but it's still not over as I've got several exams to pass and one diploma project to finish.

Forgive me Balthazar for my inactivity and inability to produce those comic pages, as I started sketching them and fleshing them out with ink I realized there's just too much stuff I need to learn to draw comics convincingly. I'm still working on it and will post the results when I'm satisfied with it.

Damn, now I need to watch this series again..

Other than that I was thinking about maybe writing a really short story (few paragraphs or so) which the main theme would be "the last thinkg to do" (like before departing, dying etc.)

Oh I wish I had a good idea for an assignment..

How about writing a review of a book or a movie that was never made (due to someone's death, budget problems etc.)?

Let's say that it'd be utterly brilliant, groundbreaking etc. (after all we're all dreamers)

If someone has a good idea for a writing assignment. Please share it with the rest :D

It would be nice to hear that somebody is still interested in and has time to do this sort of thing.

Seeing this thread hasn't been pulled down or moved to the lock-up section I thought someone ought to restart or continue it somehow. I'm not a writer myself (when it comes to writing in my non-native language), but I do enjoy reading through these types of threads.

Why is it so quiet down here?

I don't have anything specyfic in mind yet. I'd like to draw something set in the Fallout universe someday, when I get a better hold of anatomy, perspective and backgrounds.

Anything that's fairly short (and not necessarily simple) will do.

Damn, that is really good. You know, I'd love to work on a short script with you guys some time.

Any thoughts on Carey's "The Devil You Know"? I've recently stumbled upon it in a book store and I was wondering wheter to buy or borrow it from someone.

This might be my favorite so far. I really like it.

 

 

EDIT -I'm curious, Erue, what media are you using? Did you use charcoal or is that more of a crayon-like drawing implement? And on what kind of paper?

I'm using regular pencils, usually 2b or 4b and sometimes a mechanical pencil (2b I guess). I do all my drawing on a normal printer paper. Nothing special.

I'm just a beginner so I don't use other media yet (albeit I sometimes experiment with charcoal).
