  1. I try to get at least 8 hours of sleep. I have to get some sort of sleep during the night to reset my brain and let it know that a day has passed.

I heard about lucid dreaming when I was younger, and decided it would be fun to try and control my dreams. I usually can, unless I think I'm in the real world in my dreams, then my sense of reality prevents me from changing things.

I remember having a really bad nightmare where my youngest sister was into cutting herself, and she was trying to hide it, but then my mom found out, and picked up the knife my sister was using, said something to the effect of "You want to see what it's like?" and she moved the knife across her wrists, but I woke up before anything happened.

Most of my nightmares though have to do with stuff that's happening in my life. But, I don't have them that often.

Although, I remember another time, I woke up, and I scratched myself across my arm with my nails. I think I've done that a couple times. Teaches me to keep my nails shorter.

  2. Brian Azzarello's stories mostly confused me. They started out interesting, became strange and warped, then concluded with something even stranger. And not strange in the good way. I still don't have a clue what happened in "Ashes & Dust", even though it caught my attention and looked really cool. And then it got into a story about some bratty rich guy and a priest and it lost me. I'm not even sure what happened at the end.

  3. I prefer the Angel Sanctuary version, where God isn't ruling anything, because he's in a coma, and his second in command was locked in a tower because they didn't want him ruling, and Lucifer fell because he didn't like how the angels and their arrogance were ruling things, so he decided to wage a war against heaven. And when alot of the angels saw what their comrades were doing, they joined Lucifer's side because their comrades were killing needlessly.

Or, I like how Satan had a different opinion on how the world should be run, and decided that he was going to start his own.

  4. I used to RP alot on line, but there were issues with the people, and the places I was RPing at, it all fell apart. Some of my friends are trying to get a Mage game together IRL, but we're still short players.

I miss RPing online, though. although, I'd rather play with people who aren't going to be idiots while playing, or who use RPing to ignore their real-life problems.

  5. I hated that "water as a conduit" idea. Stupid fucking thing. I could dig Angela's bathtub scene as a kind of blasphemous reverse baptism, but when Keanu's sat with his feet in a bowl of water and staring into a cat's eyes, you know something somewhere has gone horribly wrong.

Well, it did seem a bit weird to me, but I assumed that he really didn't need to use the water, it was just much easier. I also thought he was going to do something to the cat, like explode it, but I guess the cat just jumped out of his hands.

  6. The chances of returning from Hell are infinitely less than the chances of a frozen orb of hand-packed crystalline dihydrogen monoxide surviving unscathed, entry through exit, an excursion through the subterranean location of exceeding exo-energetic electromagnetic radiation in the thermal band.

    :o

= a snowballs chance in hell, Rogan.

basically the guy that wrote it is a pompus twat.

He's also wrong. I think a snowball would be fine, as long as it didn't splatter.

  7. "spiritual use of lukewarm in clear defiance of God's admonition against being lukewarm"

What does that mean? Lukewarm water?

And what's the deal with having issues about Gabriel being a woman? Wouldn't it be just as wrong if Gabriel was portrayed by a man?

    "woman changing water into wine"

    I don't recall that happening.

  8. Well, it doesn't seem like he's really trying to get it back, and as much as I'd want to keep it if I found one, I'd return it if the guy who owned it contacted me. I'd say keep it, mess around with it for a bit, and if you really don't want it, then give it to someone. I think selling it is kinda mean. You found it, you got it pretty much for free, so giving it away would be better than trying to sell it.

I don't think losing an I-pod Made him quit. Lots of people quit, usually because they think it's going to be like high school, then can't make it.

  9. That's uh, interesting. I wonder if she was selling pictures of herself, or pictures she had taken. I also wonder why she'd be a student in Poland, and selling things in the UK. Unless she was from Poland, a student in the UK somewhere, out of money and trying to sell pictures.

Of course, she could've been an axe murderer waiting for you to let her inside while you search around for some money to give her, then Wam! she gets you in the back with an axe. If that's the case then, you're lucky to be alive.

  10. Kiefer Sutherland would do an excellent job. I think Ewan McGregor is too nice, like with Keanu Reeves. Jude Law would be good, but he really is in everything, and I'd never see him as Constantine, just as Jude Law, like watching a Tom Cruise movie. Who really watches it for the movie itself?

Personally, if he wasn't so young, I'd pick the guy who plays Sark on Alias. He's not British, but he's blond, and he's just so awesome.

  11. Lots of programs load at startup even if you didn't specify, or you can't find a way to turn it off in the program. Also, alot of adware and spyware and junk load at Windows startup, too. This also usually makes startup really, really slow.

If you want to get rid of stuff at startup, you go to "Run" from the Start menu, then type in "msconfig" without the quotes. It gives you a window with a bunch of tabs that say stuff like "General", "SYSTEM.INI" and "Startup". click on "Startup" and you get a list with a bunch of check boxes and program names. You can uncheck all of them except for "systray", "rundll" and "explorer". On Windows XP, I think they don't put them in the startup list so that you can't screw up and uncheck them.

If you uncheck all of them, restart, and you still have IE problems, you probably need to re-install IE. Also, if you find stuff in the Starup list that you just don't want running at startup, you can take it off, and startup will be much faster.

  12. I remember I had that problem, the page was putting the .dll file into the Tasks thingy, and would re-load it every time you opened IE. So, what I eventually had to do was reload IE. I uninstalled it, which brought it down a version, the used it to re-install the version I had originally. If you don't want to risk removing IE completely, go and download the .exe from Microsoft, uninstall IE, then use the .exe to bring it back. Or, of course, you could just get Modzilla Firefox and install that, and you're problem's fixed.

Oh, and Ad-aware should be able to remove that, if you're running Ad-aware SE, because the regular one stopped updating about October.
