I read a lot, write a lot, and this year, have been posting a lot in topics/forums that interest me. Suprised me, too. Didnt think I was into that. I read almost anything (even computer manuals, but not lately) but prefer fiction.
A DC reader from way back when they didnt have graphic novels yet.
I can cook very well when I want to, which is rare - because I hate cooking for just myself so I generally mosey over to my brother's place and get dinner. I buy him his fave food - japanese as trade. My mom died last 15 June so its been a tad difficult.
I have been to the US, never been to Europe (more's the pity, I think), been in Thailand and planning a trip to China or Canada. Maybe next year. Have to adjust to present circumstances.
New to all this (John Constantine) and I had the same question someone asked elsewhere. I stumbled into this forum, liked John M's recommendations (thank you!) as it matched what I wanted - so obviously I was glad to know I could infer all that from the short take in the DC Vertigo index.
Being in this country can suck if one is into the slightly bizarre (as Hellblazer is presently called by my friends). Comic books - of this kind are inordinately hard to come by. As of this posting I am on a wait list in a popular bookstore to get 2 books - dangerous habits and original sins. I was able to get one comic book but I already forgot the title. I remember plots better than titles.
I read your rules, pretty simple (thank goodness!) - and your site is the only one who encourages "damning".
