I'm working my way throught the 37 available tracks to Nine Inch Nails newest project, Ghosts IV. All available free on line, so I'm digging that part of it. As a pretty hard core NIN fan, I'm liking it. It's all intstrumental, so it's a good soundtrack to the work day.
Where did you find all 36 tracks for free? The site only has Ghosts I available for free download. The rest have to be bought.
I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that. I came across them on You Tube, and am just playing them one by one as while at work as I have the chance.
I'll buy and download them this weekend I think.

Ah yes, must download that soon or now, whichever's sooner. In fact, I've been listening to a lot of NIN lately. Year Zero didn't make much of an impression when I listened to it for the first time last year but recently I've found its growing on me slowly, certain samey tracks aside. Also listened to The Downward Spiral for the first time in years, bringing my attention to a track that somehow didn't get my attention much earlier than it should have (A Warm Place), great instrumental mood music that, of the kind that I'm likely to play on repeat for a long time...
Ghosts IV is really really different from other NIN projects as far as the feel. At the same time, it has a lot in common with some things he's done, like some of the songs of the second disc of "And all that Could have Been".
I love a Warm Place. I've made my own instrumental compilations of NIN stuff, just picking all my favorites into nice long mood pieces.

I really don't understand the deal with the suit and the fuss people make out of it... its just a movie and no I dont want to see Batman in tights ever again
The only time I've ever thought the "tights" look was good is in Alex Ross artwork. His Batman is fricking awesome.

Rob Zombie is rumoured to be directing the new Conan movie.
I'm intrigued. I want to be really excited. I love Rob Zombie, and I love Conan (from the Howard stories through Savage Sword of Conan to the movies) I was excited about the potential when he was at the helm of the Crow sequel. But that fell through in a bad way. So I'm trying not to get too excited about this.
I can see definate potential though. Rob Zombie could do some real justice to Conan. Give it a real Heavy Metal feel.

I finally have a chance to read the Dark Tower series from start to finish. I'm on book 4 now, Wizard and Glass. I've read them all, the earlier ones multiple times, but I'm enjoying the continuity.
Prepare yourself for complete and utter dissapointment . :icon_frown:
I disagree. I've read them all over the years and enjoy them all. I'm enjoying the chance to read them as a whole.

Savage Sword of Conan was the first series I began to really collect. (I have the entire series) It's art totally captured my adolescent testosterone driven mind. It's what inspired me to draw, and hooked me on the whole genre. I've grown a bit since then but I still love to draw me a good Conan pic.

There's a Conan pic at the bottom of the page.

Pretty damn cool concept, Erue! I like it.

Nice. It's a style I've wished I could do, but never accomplished. Nice piece!

I actually never read the No Man's Land comics. I did however read the novelization (by Greg Rucka) and it was pretty decent. I think a lot of the fat was trimmed and it was just some decent story telling.

I keep my hair long to hide my incredibly round, Charlie Brown-like head.

Then I will probably love it as well.
I love Keenan's singing voice, and Tool is my favourite band, and I buy all of Keenan's projects...I even bought that damn Deftones album with the song with Keenan. I hate the Deftones, but I wanted to hear that song, and it was quite simply the best Deftones song ever, seeing as it wasn't completely awful.
My wife even bought me a bottle of the wine for my birthday (the Chupacabra vintage 05). It was actually pretty tasty.
Right now, listening to:
Pet ~ a Perfect Circle.
Cooincidental, in as far as I'm often listening to SOMETHING Maynard involved.

Here I am, in all my glory.

Nice work, Goblin! Great sense of light and shadow. I know other people have said that same thing, but what can I say?
You have some true talent.

I see Puscifer (Maynard James Keenan's other band) has a CD coming out this week (V is for Vagina).
Has anyone heard anything off it yet?
Right now, I plan to buy it just based on the one song I've heard by the band (off the Underworld soundtrack), unless it gets really negative reviews.
I love Keenan!
Picked up the album yesterday, and I gotta tell you, I love it. I love Keenan to the point that my wife calls it a "Mancrush". She's probably right.
Listening to it right now:
Vagina Mine ~ Pusifer

Brother Odd ~ Dean Koontz
I don't care for all of Dean Koontz, but I do like this series.

I want to like every comic book based movie, but it just doesn't happen that way.
I popped in the DVD, and couldn't sit through it. After 20 min, I just had to turn it off. It was just SO bad. I'll try it again and hope I was just in the wrong state of mind.
What were you reading for the 1st 3 years of this forum?

I've read all but the last couple of Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series. I enjoyed the first few, including Guilty pleasures. Not so much the later books in the series. I'll be curious to hear your opinions.
