i dont really know how profitable it would be for dc,but you gus have a point....hb hasnt been edited in some countries,and getting the imports may be a little expensive for some people.For example,i live in argentina,where three american dollars are equivalent to only one argentinian peso, so i have to pay almost 15 pesos for a monthly issue of HB,wich is ridiculous,its too expensive...not to mention triying to buy a trade,almost 80 pesos!!!!........and there is not even an argentinian edition of HB,you can only get the spanish(form spain,hehe) editions,and not everithing is collected.So we have two problems here,that a lot of peopple cant read in english and on the other side that buying HB in some countries such as mine is too expensive.

altough dc has made a deal with a book company to edit superman/batman and identity crisis at a reasonable price, but you cant get vertigo or most of DC apart from buyin the us imports,and as i said.reaaaallyyyy expensive.

So to finish,DC should consider publishing their book at a reasonable price in some parts of the world

i think that if the movie had been more faithful to the comic book it would have encouraged people who saw the movie but didnt know about the comic to pick it up to see what is all about.

Actually i dont care if people who dont know the book pick it upo or not...i just want them to make a new movie with an english-blonde-stinglooking-chainsmoking-trenchcoated bastard and not with fucking keannu reeves goddammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well,i s was reading "books of magick:life during war time" a couple of weeks ago(I even strarted a thread about it, wich by the way nobody has paid a lot of attention to, and that hurts my feeleings,snif,snif) and in one of the finl issues, when jackie constantine was introduced, the character of brewster said something like " to every generation(and dimension) there is a human who will spit in the eyes of the gods and demons.The magical protector.the cosmic trickster.The cosmic fool"......so,si john some kind of cosmic/universal entity supposed to exist to mantain some kind of balance to existance?

i allready have all issues of hellbalzer scanned(i didnt scanned them myself), i would offer to send the issues any of you may need...but that would be too much work and i am a lazy ass.......so i recomend you download shareaza,its a p2p sowtware and there you will find every issue of hellblazer

OK, i just finished reading life during wartime and i find myself a liiitle confused,so please,help me figure this bits out.

The first thing that confuses me is........is the tim showed in this books the real tim hunter,the one from the "real" dimension....i think he is,but maybe i am wrong.

The second thing that confuses me is about our lovable johnny constantine.............the one showed in "lufe during wartime"...he is not our john, I mean...the one from the "reak" universe...he is his counterpart from this dimension where the bred and the born are at war...right???.But if he isnt our john, why does he treat tim as he has known him forever...and if he isnt our john, then that means that when he talked to tim and explain hs plan to hide the books and tim and blah,blah,blah..he was pretending to be our john so that Tim would trust him.

So please help me undersand the story right

you guys complain about waiting a month to read hellblazer???? i have only read two hellblazer issues in paper in my life!!!!.

i live in argentina and its hard and expensive to get hellblazer,so i have had to conform with reading hellblazer scans, and i am going crazy waiting for someone,somewhere scans issue 213!!!!

changing the subject....i was reading sdome old issues the other day and i realized how weird it was that john never mourned o mentioned rick the vic`s death....well its not like he ever mourned anyones death,but one would hae expected at least a comment on him diying or smoething right??

I know probably most people will tell me to go and buy the freaking book, but the problem is i live in argentina and hellblazer imports are rather hard to find and reaaaaaally expensive.So if anyone could please help me i would appreciate it
