  1. Viz editor Graham Drury, who also draws the cartoon, said: "I'm sorry to say that the Fat Slags are no more.

"After seeing this crass and ill- conceived film I just don't feel like drawing them again".

    Con dos cojones.

Yessir, that's integrity. Anyway, if the Helllblazer editors stop the comic because of the film they know they're  dead  men. So they won't dare.

  2. If you can got'em in English:

    Fanhunter Chronicles

    Fanhunter: Classics

    Fanhunter: Classics Essential

Fanhunter: La Batalla de Montjuic Redux

    And:

    Nightmares (Katsuhiro Otomo)

Ghost in the Shell 1 & 2 (Masamune Shirow)

    The rest are named already.

  3. Something about a samurai rabbit just doesn't appeal, although I've always thought of it as a kids book.

A friend of mine told me that Usagi Yojimbo had animal characters to represent gore and killings and not to be bothered by the japanese 'comics code'. If such a thing existed anytime.

    Rassera, rassera, rasse rasse rassera.

  4. I realized that no one open his/her mouth to speak about... ... that spell system. There aren't all the Hellblazer comics in my country but as far as I know, Constantine is not used to throw lighting bolts as if he come up from AD&D... And the ... humm... Simon Says Sistem?

Now I'll have to imagine John hitting mystical colour lights with funny sounds to wake a golem up.

    -_- :) :D

  5. That second thing might constitute a spoiler.

If spoilers are banned, yes, it constitutes an spoiler. Because where it should be there is a big blank space...

Anyway, there is a lot of stories of people who sell their soul since even before of Faust. Well, Faust didn't sell his soul because he had a lung cancer but because we was bored (who said Faust was a good book?).

  6. I want to live in Italy or Spain!

Come, come inside of meeee... Willecome is welcome to meeee...

No, no, you all are wrong. The movie is a USA movie, a Kneau movie and a Warner Bros movie. We all have it in cinemas. Why? Because WE'RE ALL LIVING IN AMERIKA (Rammstein lyrics are wise). I'm tired of repeat it. So guys in Belgrade, Moscow, Pekin, Osaka, Calcuta, Bourkina Faso, Madrid, Reijavik, Cape Town, Santiago de Chile, Lisbon, Rome, Cork, Wollongong, Sofia, etc, you can calm down: we all will have Constantine in theaters. Either we like it or not.

Anyway, I bet that Portugal, Italy and Spain will be asignated the same release date than France or UK.

  7. Candy-assed?

Do you drive a pick-up truck?

    Pick-up truck? What is it?

Now, speaking about music. In my country we got a thing called 'summer song' (they are actually four or five every year) which is spreading around the world like cancer (does 'Macarena' say anyting to you?). Maybe it deserves a topic. The rest of the year we got 'artists' who came up by 'Operación Triunfo' (which is like Big Brother but in a music academy) and make clonic pop music. The rest of the arists are mostly controlled by an evil organization, the 'SGAE' (General Society of Spaniards Authors). There is not artist freedom here.

In USA? The 'music industry' controlls everything. Sure, 'we are all living in Amerika'. Do anyone expect a good OST for Constantine...

Every couple of weeks I plug "Constantine OST" into Amazon's "Popular Music" search...one day soon it will return a match that leaves me weeping at my desk.

    ... apart McMahon's opinion? :D

I mean, who are the music producers in the film?

  8. Kack Metal: sl. In reference to Heavy Metal music which isn't very good (ie: most of it). From the British slang term "cack" which means fecal.

For example: Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Linkin Park.

Can also be used to refer to the dubious "techno-rock" or "industrial" music which often goes hand in hand with heavy metal on shitty soundtracks.

I partially agree... There are Metal groups whose music don't fit as a soundtrack but they are good: do you imagine Brainstorm or Dio as the Matrix OST? The NuMetal, althought it sucks, fits better. Anyway, there are Metal groups whose music is fine for a film and they're not NuMetal (Monster Magnet, for example). And please, don't embarras me with your sad comparitions between Industiral and Nu Metal. You can't compare Nebel or Azsche zu Azsche (Rammstein) with Crawling or Breaking the Habit (Linkin Park).

I prefer Rammstein (even when I dislike Du Hast...)

Anyway, does anyone know who are going to do the Constanteen OST? I bet that Marilyn Manson will be part of it.

    We're all living in Amerrika.
