Bloody hell that story was good...he also had an interesting idea about how hell and heaven fuck up our world, but the lack of one in Harry's world allows them to create a shiney-penny, feel-good paradigm where there is no cigs and pumpkin Juice is a hard drink.

Here's a thought to bring the two worlds closer...Can you think of a dimension in Johnny's world where there is no god or devil. I can. It used to live in a certain downsized ex-lightbringer's club.

Think about it...Harry Potters world is the evolved universe that Lucifer created and gave the one law that there were no gods to be worshiped...

i.e. How young Map or Clarice got introduced into the occult. Map's first connections with the spirtual London (ending with John getting him the Tube job) or Clrice's first meeting with Albert and their early relationship....or even, the many men that Clarice chewed up and spit out to get to where she was...

Think about this...Demon Constantine is enjoying his run in hell as an untouchable, and is all of Johnny's (then) bad parts...however, he does have one redeeming part thrown into the mixer...his love for Kit.

I wonder about what that true love does to the soul of something utterly bastardly and living in an utterly evil enviorment. Think that it nags and grows on him....think that it torments him...think that it could finally drive the D.C. to want revenge on our original johnny for cursing him with such a thing, and willing to do anything to get rid of it as long as he lives in hell...

or, on another point...willing to get mortal shell so he can make another go with Kit?

Well I guess that was the Demon Constantine at the auction.  I'm not 100% sure why the Demon Constatnine is a total enemy of John. 

since D.C. is a Constantine, he may have been wanting the soul just to restore it to Johnny and have John "owing him a favour"
