  1. John, Gatwick to Brighton is pretty cool trip.

As you say Gatwick is about half the distance tween the two cities.

There are trains about every 20 minutes, and its about £15 return.

The trip takes about 30 minuts or 40 depending on the train company and also whether its a stopping train.

The train station is fairly accessable at Gatwick airport.

anyhow, its a handy enough place to get to. David Llyodd and Glenn fabry live in Brighton and I expect other pros do to, but its a grand spot if a bit hairy late at night, with revelry.

Davids comics is pretty good too, and worth checking out while in Brighton, they have a secondhand/remaindered bookshop next door, and always find bargain Graphics therein.

I note the comment about not much in London, I was at the London Film and Comic Con this summer in Earls court, and there were a good selection of comic people there.

next years website is up: http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/index.html

    No comic guests yet.

Pat Mills stood out, and his Q and A session was very good and it was nice to see Pat Mills at any event, as I had always expected never to see him. He was much nicer than I had heard, very erucite and charming and I got to chat to him about BATTLE which started me off in comics.

Duncan Fredego, Leah Moore and John Reppion, Gary Leach were there as well, and they have had the likes of David Llyodd, Glenn Fabry, Andy Diggle, Jock and others at previous ones. Earls Court is fairly cenral, but it not a hotel, of course.

Its 80% media and meet the actor, but Incognito, A Place in space, FP, and about a dozen other major comic hops take tables so Comic fans must go there.
