I was traveling through South Carolina once... don't ask why... and its big tobacco country and u can smoke anywhere. anyway I'm eating in Burger king and of course i'm wearing a pair of black wide legged jeans and I'm wearing a shirt that says I'm really a lesbian. The local rednecks are all giving me the dirty looks while a munch down on some rancid grub. When this old windbag from California comes in and sees me smoking. she starts yelling and screaming to the management and the old daft guy in corner gives the lady a toothless smile and lights a cigarette, he even gives one to his fifteen year old grandaughter. The lady almost had a heart attack... When I shout you aint in kansas anymore dorothy.

The descent was awesome i highly recommend that also the bird with crystal plumage even though giallo and not by true defintion horror... still creepy showtime in america does masters of horror and one of the best ones is pelts a story by f.paul wilson and directed by dario argento.... really good but i prefer to read horror than watch it... james herbert is on of my faves along with robert mcgammon and dan simmons

i love this book as y is going to crappers and loveless is getting stupid.... fables and jack are the cool books... i dropped testament... he's trying to do to much and it puts me off... dmz's okay... how can not laugh at some of wicked gross out humor it sort of reminds me of the old days of hellblazer...

I've begun to enjoy "Testament" again.

The first story-arc got bogged down and ended up looking like the whole series was woefully misdirected.

But, issue #6 really brought me back into the story again (which lost me with #3).

Is anyone still reading "Testament"?

yeah i had issues with three and onward number six was a great story... i actuallywas bored and picked up loveless... i hate how he doesn't represent passage of time is my only issue... both six and seven were good... Fables might jump up even more and Y certainly will with the all the attention it's getting lately....

I think testament is about to fall apart... rushkoff doesn't have the sense of how to tell astory and it's starting to show... but the bugs rule Ext. number 3 was just great and number two had and exploding Aj how cool... the only they really gotta stop is dead body gag or the person covered in roaches... then it will be top notch

picked up girls interesting to say the least... not down with the art though

manhunter was an original made for tv movie so he had to leave out stuff... he had no choice Ratner has no concept of movies or why people see them...

i think the best ending would john dies and has to go to heaven... that would be the worst punishment imaginable for him... think about it... the first really doesn't want his death meaning anything special except for his own desires for john and what would piss off the first more .... john going to heaven

don't get me wrong its good for a chuckle but it will die... I think seagle is better at things like it's a bird... he's one of those writers, who writes best when he hates it

the first trade was a very typical story he used to introduce the characters well not great as animal farm or storybook love its a starting point at least you can be introduced to the characters without having to read it thirty times (cough) loveless

nergal.. is more of a catalyst for stories nowadays... and a poor one at that ... if a writer brings them back its going be another oh john now your really damned...

of course i think its not going to last.... the story reminds me of the mink too much... but the family deal is going to be the spark and watch it fade... plus the plot is kinda hookey....

i started collecting marvel X comics when they started the four x series and then the lost focus and got all cheesy with crossovers ... I skipped to dc and never looked back and then move to vertigo... were i'm pretty happy... of course I'm more happier throwing pies in pretty girls faces.. but thats just moi.

after reading issue three... I think testament will fall apart... I don't think he has the scope of clarity one needs and he trying to do too may things at once.... which never works unless your in threesome or at orgy.

I'd heartily recommend DMZ, for what it's worth, but I think there are plenty of folk around here who'd beg to differ.

 

 

i would say DMZ... you should start Y from the beginning. Even Fables would be good but then again better to start in the beginning

I would rather buy hairy fat guy porn than buy a family crude comic book... I think the only bright pot on the show is only stewie and dog but thats it...

my friend and I were talking last night about what comic we'd like to write. And i would to do a story arc for lotdk called sleep is somethin I never get. I would have scarecrow and joker be good guys and play on certain aspects. My favorite LOTDK was Going Sane...

he didn't have time and I imagine she's due to be awakened (the blue fairy). probably by pinocchio
