mikey carey's run on hellblazer was amazing... 215 was a very nice send off and not some finest hour or.... and the crowd goes wild type on nonsense....

In my opinion you don't need to buy every single back issue (that aren't in trades) to enjoy hellblazer... but if you like collecting then by all means get the back issues but i say as long as u have habits through rakes... then your in decent shape...

...it would be awesome to see tim do an issue ... i would love to see tony harris do a cover... although i have to say y the last man # 19 is my favorite with ampersand doing the shakespeare ... something about monkees and shakespeare.... gets me every time... of course 202 hellblazer is great along with 184

delano's in another part of hell is one of my favorites... i also enjoy hard time the clay type art work of cohen actually works with the themes imagine manco drawing hard time... 8-) it would have been even more sadistic.... anyways careys run was great did'nt care much for bred and bone... freezes over was great ... love re-reading.. rakes and fear and loathing... john has changed much in his ways and become more accessible... remember the letters page my father flipped cause he couldn't understand them...

that wasn't john at all ... it was a sodden piece of crap that hollywood spews forth to try to appease moviegoers... I watched witness today on hbo and realized hollywood will never make a cool movie like that ever again... people don't want scenes and characters to develop they want popcorn explosions and fizzy drinks with mindnumbing dialogue... and impossible gunfights and smooth style... fuckwads...

 

I like the wrinkled metallic colored fabric look of the page. Whether the mood it and the artwork produce is properly Hellblazerish is certainly open to debate, but it's different from any previous HB cover that I can remember, and is eye-catching in its own way.
