Confession time: I've never seen it.

It's a sex act with dogs, IIRC.

It was bizarre to see an Ian McEwan story included in the book (“Pornography”). His story is so out-of-place. The writing is so much better than the other stories included ...
Huh. I read that in a McEwan collection in May, and sheepishly admit it never occurred to me how well it'd fit into a horror anthology. Quite well indeed, now that I think of it. It's a bit Clive Barker.

...Whereas Immortal Hulk 35 is a tour de force.

Christ, that was flawless. 10 from me.

The typography does the heavy lifting on those covers though.

Richard Piers Rayner has some original Hellblazer art on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174346588650

Golly. Thanks for the heads-up.

After a looong wait, Immortal Hulk 34 felt like a filler/backstory issue.

Years ago, forum treasure Rogan found and shared some excellent might-have-been Hellblazer logos. IIRC the design studio pitched several options and DC chose the one that became version 5 in Berlowitz's poll. The alternatives can still be found at the original link: http://www.iamalwayshungry.com/new/hell1.html
It's quite an old website. To move through the pages, just click almost anywhere in the screen.

Still no sign of a scan of the Grafton Dragon Masters cover bigger than a stamp...
That's the edition I've got. How big do you want the scan?

That Steve Crisp cover for The Blue World is one of my favourites. Great book too.

I totally love the Stainless Steel Rat series.
If some girl
wanted to set me up as a patsy, my affections, she could cos-play Angela from the 2000 ad stories. That was prime Carlos.

Felt like proper Hellblazer.
The art for the "red" scenes was stunning, reminiscent of Kent Williams and Dave McKean and everything that was good about the Delano run.
I'm okay with the face Aaron Campbell uses for John, although I think it's off-model; however, look at the lower half of page 7 and tell me this isn't one of the best "ENTER: JOHN CONSTANTINE" panels ever.
Look how the tier on the left leads the eye down the page, so that when we go to the next panel, we start at the bottom and work upwards. F*cking hell Mr Campbell.

...This is a president who thought that writing an executive order banning twitter from censoring him was more important than enforcing the coronavirus lock down, after all.
They didn't even censor the cnut. They added a "more information" link to his tweets. As Christian said, the problem is the people (or rather, colleges) who elected him. If you elect a dog to high office, you can't blame it for barking and licking its arse.
Sorry for this lapse into Australian English.

The movie's supposed to be a cracker. It's on my list but it isn't easy to find a region B copy at a decent price.
