Right, having just had a quick chat with Rogan about chippies (fish and chip shops, for non-Brits) it got me wondering. I've seen American films with hot dog stands and pretzel carts, but what do othr countries have as fast food (not counting burger/pizza joints.) Do you have a national dish or even little roadside vans knocking out greasy breakfasts, do you all have ice cream vans? Does anyone else have bread vans? Not that there's that many round here anymore, but I remember buying cakes from dodgy looking vans when I was a kid. Or mobile shops? Or mobile libraries? Or rag and bone men (again, not so many of these) Are Irish council estates filled with horses, John? And what's the weather like today for everyone? (God, I'm so English). Today it's cold but the sky looks nice and at least you can see a bit of blue, but I've got my central heating on. (But I am wearing a vest.)

Let's not make a big deal out of this til I know what's going on. (Ok, I know I made a big deal, but that's my perogative.)

There's only 3 people on these boards that know the situation, it's more complicated than it seems. It's not simply "not meshing" it's an on going thing. Hopefully we'll resolve it, underneath it all we're friends and I want to be there for him to support him, as he did for me when I was depressed.

I'm ok, it's just a bit of an anxious time, but what I said to him was kinda ambiguos (can't spell that) and to be honest, he's so down he may not even have realized what I was saying. Real talk needed, will know more later. Fingers crossed.
