I raise my well shaken martini to Casino Royale. I like the idea of starting the series over a-la Batman Begins and the fact that no official film version had previously been done of Bond's first assignment made it all the better. I think Daniel Craig is probably the best Bond since Connary.

Heads up ya'll the oficial release is avaliable. http://www.atasteforthetheatrical.com/deathtrap/default.htm

I think Megadeth is trully underrated within the metal community. I have to agree with agent 22 in his assessment that they have smart and insightful lyrics and decent musicianship. Wait no I'm just kidding I couldnt keep that one up... I was just going to fuck with Christian cause its been a while but then I found myself typing shit about loving Megadeth and I just couldnt keep doin it. Metallica made the right choice by cutting that useless fat from the band. Theres my two cents.

So has Nolan completely won ya'll over yet or what? I personally am of the mind I still need to see the full length feature to make a final choice but the qoutes from this preview that give me hope are "To them you're just a freak... like me!" and "Let's put a smile on that face." both of course followed by peels of shrill spine breaking laughter. I take it from these two qoutes that the essence of Joker's fascination with Batman is still there and to me that is most important. I will admit that I would prefer a pema-white Joker but if he wants to ensure that this character fits into the realistically driven version of Batman and he makes sure that he still retains the essence of the character I can get over the perma-white aspects not being there. Although from the looks of things some parts of the face are permanent I can't really tell though. And is it just me or does it seem like they are trying to cloud his past in a lot of mystery? Wooo that was a lot to get out. Well chew on that mo fos.

*Blipping in from the cosmos for a minute* Me likes a lot. Oh and I'd like to give a shout out to the K bros, Spiderlegs, Jay, My commie buddy Christian, and that curmudgeon of curmudgeons Mark e Mark and the surly bunch. What's up ya'll. *Dissapears in a cloud of ether*

I don't think they have plans to kill off Joker in this movie, but it does make me wonder what Joker's influence if any will be on the third film. The storyline is supposed to be heavily influenced by The Killing Joke, and The Long Halloween, so I think that more of the focus of this film will be the transition from the mafia running things to the "freaks" running things in Gotham with the Joker being sort of the one to fully usher in the freaks time. The one thing that has me wondering though storywise is I have heard that the Joker part of the movie is supposed to be based on TKJ and the first couple of appearances of Joker, and I'm wondering if that means his first appearance in the comics or if it means some kind of retelling such as LOTDK #50, or The Man Who Laughs.

I just thought I would throw this piece of meat to the pack and let ya'll chew over it a bit. Fake or Real? What do ya'll think? I personally am leaning to fake but I don't know. And has anyone heard anythng about when the first teaser trailer is going to go on screen?

I don't remember where I read this (I think it was on BOF) but the costume designer had remarked that he feels like those who like the rubber aspects of the old "movies suits will like this one because it has those elements, and that cloth fans will like it because it has those elements in it, and so on. However if we go by the previous series of posts on the subject he should expect noone to like it.

I wonder what part Anthony Michael Hall is playing?
I personally think he's going to be the next Edward Nigma. I mean it makes perfect sense.
Looks like he'll be Vernon instead.Hm.

Now that is pretty sweet. I think it looks more like armor than any of the previous suits have and the whole movable head thing is a big selling point for me. So cool suit rich bitch. Now just officially 399 days 00 hours 03 minutes and 59 seconds oh no wait 58. 57 oh hell you get the point.

I really think if anything, Hall should play Matches Mahoni.
Breathless' husband?
:D
No man that's Eighty-Eight Keys.

I geuss I would be the only one who will say that I like this series. I find the juvenile, yeah it is so what, humour a riot. All of it expcept for the borderline homophobia, although that's nothing new for Ennis. I was giggling like a boy at church with a porno in the hymnal at the "cat fucking" scene. Speaking of that it's interesting that it's being called the "cat fucking" scene since there is no cat fucking taking place. But oh well I like sick, depraved, sophmoric humour sometimes.

So apparently they made a movie out of another Stephen King story (this guy just keeps getting richer and richer. He has like 3 or 4 mansions.)
The movie seems to be a bit different than the short story, and the previews made it seem kind of dumbed down when in fact they could have actually made the entire short story directly into film.
So it's gonna be another Lawnmower Man is it?

I've been listening to a lot of Suicide as of late. Wow these guys were way WAY ahead of their time!

I think my faith may have just been restored. Holy shit that looks fucking awesome! :D

I've read that Nolan was so impressed with Raimi's inclusion of dance numbers in Spider-Man 3 that he's thinking of doing the same.
:o  Oh and sweet avatar by the way. Wait did you say that Spider-Man tres has a "Dance" number in it? Tell me you are kidding on that as well.

Yeah according to everything I've been hearing that's going to be the look.

I think my fiancee' said it best when she said it looked like a picture that could have come off the Slipknot website.

I agree with Christian you must write this book, if only for amusement. I don't know of any books on the subject geared to that demographic so you'll be ahead of the curve.

Here's another site that I found because I'm OCD.

I've been off work sick since Wednesday and have been watching every episode of Robot Chicken and The Venture Bros. have to say that my favourite Venture episode has to be Ghosts of the Sargasso just for the opening with the near verbatim recitation of Space Oddity.
The fact that they included a costumed hero named the Answer Man fucking killed me man. I was rolling. :D

A little late, but humorous nonetheless:

Seasons in Hell by Mike Shropshire. It's a great Gonzo sports journalist's travels and travails over three seasons with the Rangers in the mid-seventies. It's been funny and revealing so far.
