I'm just a prude. It was the fact that it was a picture of Pooks in the bath that bothered me in ways that I have learned to supress over the years with brutal self flogging and mutilation. :icon_evil: GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!!!

As far as DODRMK is concerned I enjoyed it as a zombie film, and not as a remake. I am of the opinion that if they had changed the name of the film it would have been better. The only items of simillarity that the original and this film had were the black cop, the mall setting, and the gun store. I mean where is my helicopter escape from Philly, and where is the biker gang? I realize that some of those things were revised and translated differantly in this film, ie. the escape being made by highway instead of helicopter and the security gaurds replacing the biker gang, but I liked the original story and didn't feel that it needed changing. Also being a big fan of Romero's work and the original piece, I feel like it was insulting to the fans to have given it the same name. I also feel the same way about the latest string of "remakes" of classic horror films that have come out in the last few years. It's nothing more than rewriting other peoples ideas and than using the same marketing ploys to schill these abominations. What do the studios have on all of these directors to get them to sign off on these shite ripoffs? Oh yeah, greed and the rights to their work. So anyway to sum up, remakes are only remakes when they are the original story: script, plot devices, and dialogue. Some of them are fine as films unto themselves, ie. DoD and Chainsaw, but they are not remakes. They are simply stories that have similar plot devices. I.M.H.O. ;)

Wake up time to die. Fucking A that is Ridley Scott's best film. I particularly like and prefer the director's cut version. I think the voice over and that ending were fat well cut. The cyborgs being "villians" should be obvious by the time the viewer discovers that Sean Young is a replicant. I mean that is the entire crux of the film, and if they don't "get" that than they are "r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d". Pardon me, but that's my opinion.

Actually I heard that Christian is actually a google bot sent to destroy this site by some of the last remaining hardcore Soviet Communists. FCD ties RSL today for their first point of the season. Although I got to admit I don't like hearing Morrow blaming the draw to the playing surface, sounds to me like it might be a cop out.

I heard a rumour the other day, and I'm wondering if anyone else has also. I heard that Frank Miller was going to be somehow involved with the making of the movie, has anyone else heard this, and if so if there any legitemacy to it. I'm not totally sure how I feel about it either.

It's still growing ya'll I mean look how long it took just to get a major league for football in the US. It's gonna take a while.

Oh hell, why can't we get four more years of this action while we're at it?
