Perhaps we should just launch a major invasion of his forum and get it over with. Byrne is like that bad relationship you just can't leave, or that drug habit you just can't kick.

Tell me about it, I've already got the shakes.

You mean Constantine?
I'm not in the camp that hates it. I found it entertaining enough, especially when I didn't compare it to the comic.
It's at about the level of From Hell for me. There are comic-book movies that I have a far stronger dislike for. Examples: Both Punisher movies, Garfield, Fantastic Four (they really, really dropped the ball with that one), and a preemptive hatred for Ghost Rider. Those movies I absolutely loathe with every inch of my soul.
Constantine is harmless......

Love, love, love Dead Man.
Crash: A great drama for the socially aware, or a hilarious comedy for racists.
Try Ghost Dog Way of the Samurai if you love Dead Man. Another of Jarmusch's best.
Seen it. Seen all of Jarmusch's films. I tend to go through creator's works pretty quickly. I went through a Kubrick phase, an Altman phase, a Scorcese phase........

Yup, Claudette's sudden return was complete BS. Whatever, I guess it's good to have her back. One of my favorite things in this show is when the Strike Team is trying to avoid Dutch & Claudette while they're all on the same case. That rip-off Shane and Ronnie pulled was fantastic---- had me biting my nails the whole time.
There will be so many crosses, double-crosses, triple-crosses, and quadruple-crosses to come that it boggles the mind.
2 episodes to go, and I can't hardly fathom how they'll resolve all this, makes me think the show will return for another season.
Oh, and the preview for the next episode showed the Stike Team once again doing some crazy-illegal shit while dressed all in black. Love it.

Sethos---- Hopefully the recovery goes smoothly.
Kinks---- take care, luv.
Incs---- Free fumes are the best high.
DP---- Let's hear more about your writing.
FG---- Damn good stuff, I'm jealous. Ever get around to doing "The Beast" or "The Shadowdog"? I think those would be cracking.

I believe it refers to goblin's martial arts. He and Charlie have bonded over breaking people in half.......
-
I would agree with most of that.
For me, I guess a "top ten" list would go something like this:
1. Batman Begins
2. Sin City
3. Superman II
4. X2
5. Spider-Man
6. Hellboy
7. Road to Perdition
8. Ghost World
9. American Splendor
10. Superman
Definitely looking forward to all the flicks you mentioned. I anticipate big things from V, Superman Returns, X3, Batman and Sin City sequels.

You know, I was pretty underwhelmed by the Spider-Man films, particularly the second one. I really didn't care for Doc Ock at all. Though the subplot with Peter losing his powers and giving up the superhero life was nostalgic fun (ahhh the days when I enjoyed reading Spider-Man.....).
Batman Begins is still my favorite with the first 2 Superman movies and the X-Men movies right behind.
Everything else is just mediocre or horrible (The Punisher) to me.

rich old bruce wayne and i just dont like the man.
But thats why i'm here educate me show me some comics that i'd like then i can leave the safety of marvel im only 18 i've got alot of growing room haha.
I have had alot of thaughts about looking into other comics mostly hellboy or swamp thing .... or both! And whats this 7 soldiers every one seems to talk about round here.
Also how do i go about changing my name on here i think my present one isn't very sociable for lack of a better word rather just have Mick.
RE: The name change: PM JMac, he'll sort you out
RE: Marvel: You'll grow out of most of their titles as you get older. Start reading Grant Morrison and Alan Moore comics. (Actually, check out any of the writers listed on the "favorite writers" thread.) Wikipedia them if you don't know what they've done.
RE: 7 Soldiers: Click here. The one we're all talking about is the Grant Morrison-penned one.

Anybody ever click on the "5 queries" thing next to what looks like a keg at the bottom right?
-
Googlebot had.

Will do.
Thanks for holding my hand.

So which one: WinAmp or QCD?
I shall trust your choice and never look back.

You have to wait for The Breast.
I'm waiting.....

Muwhahahahahahaha!
Charlie, I've known your brother Lou for quite some time!

I read some user reviews for various players (at cnet/download.com) at one of the biggest "cons" about QCDPlayer is that there's no media library. Supposedly, the program is always "minimized" and in order to find a particular track/song you have to engineer a search (whereas with Music Match, WinAmp, Windows Media player, et. al. the songs are all listed in a library and easily located).
-
What about this nonense I read about Quintessential saying there's no song library? Can't have that.
-
I think it'll get decidedly less crappy as the arc progresses **here's hoping**.
-
Well, there are urges involved.......

I've been using Music Match Jukebox for the past few years, and it was great, until version 8 and beyond. Now it's filled with bugs, demands almost complete attention from my harddrive, and frequently crashes. Ideally, I would like my jukebox/player to:
not crash
not require 90% cpu usage
allow me to rename tracks (fairly important to me since I *cough* download stuff that's mis-tagged all the time)
rip cds (and convert the files to mp3 format)
burn cds
export mp3 tracks to a non-iPod mp3 portable player
Any suggestions?
I heard JetAudio is ok but not great and iTunes won't work with non-iPod portables.
Help is greatly appreciated as I'm looking to slap all my cds onto my computer.

I'm pumped for this flick. I may have abandoned the comics, but X-Men films will get my $ every time.
And you're right Hags, that trailer is kick-ass. Fastball special anyone?

I step into this debate hesitantly, but isn't the whole point concerning the 2 circles simply: that there are things humans don't understand and attribute to God/a higher power or being and when we figure out/understand those things previously attributed to God they become a part of our circle, increasing our circle and decreasing God's??
Which isn't to say that as we learn things (in a general sense) our circle grows and God's shrinks.
