  1. Does stoned count? I don't smoke much pot these days (compared to...oh...Lou, probably I smoke none at all), but I did today and I must tell you, I'm a bit goofy currently, if it's not obvious or anything...

I just wanted to ask the same! Some friends dropped by yesterday, so we played cards and smoked some... we laughed our eyes out, like teenagers smoking for the first time... and there was nothing really funny... pot hasn't influenced me like that for ages... was quite nice... but my belly aches today...

  2. I dont think so, Ylith

    Otherwise, this would a first.

    Me crushing on someone gay.

I can usually pick them to be hetero, or bi.

    :blink::blink: :unsure:

Are you female or male? Now I'm totally confused...

Hm... Keanu crush... maybe if he was always like in Youngblood... that haircut just turns me on

Oh, not to be totally offtopic, I just finished reading A Scanner Darkly for fifth time, and Keanu really could pull this off... damn, if my english was a little better and if I wasn't affraid of bad translation, I'd write my favourite quote... that book is full of astonishing thoughts...

  3. Oh yeah? Like what?   :

There were flatmates, and a flatmate's girlfriend, and there were drugs, and there was red wine with coke in it (the cola, not the narcotic), and I'll leave it at that :o

Wait, you drank red wine and ... coca cola???  :icon_cry:

Why is red wine and cola so funny? Over here we call it 'bambus' or 'bubu' depending on the proportion of red vine and coke... 1/1 would be bambus, and 2/1 (for the wine) would be bubu... I love bubu's!

  4. Oh yeah? Like what?   :D

well... this doesn't necessary sound bad at all... I mean.. if you're into that kind of stuff

Mm, well. It wasn't "that kind of stuff", unfortunately. It was the flatmate's girlfriend that was the particularly crucial part of the equation...

uuuuuu... you... what's the word... casanova... don juan... erm... dirty rotten bastard..?

  5. I used to work as a waitress during college... In Tolkien's Fantasy Club in Zagreb, which is kinda fancy place for rich people, and tips were lousy. Then I worked in McDonald's, and we weren't supposed to take tips, it was forbidden.

After that I worked in a restaurant in Rijeka, tips were great, like another salary and more, but the night club... tips are FANTASTIC... especially when customers get drunk

So, being a waitress, I can't not leave a tip, I know what those poor people sometimes go through, but if the service is really bad, I won't tip.

  6. I was raised a Methodist, attended Christian school for nearly 5 years, and jumped from religion to religion (studying most of the world's organized religions) after I turned my back on Christianity when I left the Christian school, before deciding I was Agnostic, and later through sheer defeat and pessimism, giving up the hope and admitting I was an Atheist.

Lol, Christian attended Christian school :)

[Much childish giggling in the corner]

    I'll go away now....

Hm... I think Manson was in Christian school too before he became whatever that is he became... Christian, is there anything else you would like to share?

  7. I totally disagree about Johnny Depp's performance in Ed Wood.  It's been a while since I saw it but while watching it I kept being reminded of a Jon Lovitz character from SNL.  It felt like a one-note caricature, same with his portrayal of HST inFear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Personally my favorite Depp performance was in Dead Man where he actually under-performed for once and by not doing any funny accents or eccentric behaviour he out-acted eveyone else in the film.

I agree with you on the statement about his performance in Dead Man. I think it's one Jim Jarmusch's best film, and one of my favorite Westerns. However I wonder if you are aware that Depp actually went to Owl Farm and Stayed with Hunter for a while living in his basement and reading his old notes to study for his turn as the good Docter. I think at least his Dr. Thompson was a fuck-load better than Bill Murray's in Where the Buffalo Roam. And hell I like Bill Murray and he still couldn't match Depp on playing Thompson. Check out the special edition DVD of Fear and Loathing Thompson on one of the commentaries says almost that very thing.

I hate you people who can get all the cool stuff... :icon_evil:

  8. well... snow again here... for two days now... if I look out the window once more and see it... I'm gonna scream... ye who wish snow, know not what ye wish for...

  9. Reading a book... listening to music... drawing... writing... usually something I enjoy doing... sometimes just staring at the ceiling... imagining...

When I really want to relax, I go to my grandfather's, saddle up a horse and go to the woods for a day or two... take an empty notebook and some weed with me...

  10. Depp is definitelly one of my favourites... loved him in Edward Scissorhands (don't think I spelled that right...) and Sleepy Hollow... as far as Pirates are concerned... pantomime is the same as in Fear and loathing... who knows, maybe captain Jack Sparrow is an ancestor of Raoul Duke...

  11. Well... didn't get drunk on Friday... :glare: but two of my girlfriends got drunk as... really drunk, and I had a great time watching them and laughing.

But, I got drunk on Saturday... a friend came over to my place, we drank 2 bottles of fine Macedonian red wine... and he brought some home grown pot... then I fell asleep... I think so...
