Ylith is a character I play in the GURPS. She is a Nevaequarlani, some kind of halfbreed, mix between High Elf and a Drow Elf. Her mother was elven sorceress who was raped by a group of Drows on a predatory mission. Released for a while from their strict matriarchat, they raged into a small village and killed, raped, destroyed...

 

She is tall, slim, dark skin, black/white hair and green eyes. Rejected from her family from the moment she was born, always on her own. At the age of thirteen she left her mother's house. Lived in woods for a couple of years, then she met a group of travelling merchants and joined them. One of them, Kieran, raised her and taught her all he knew. At the age of seventeen, strange things started to happen arround her. Kieran took her to the woods and shown her the way to the old wizard in the woods, for he could maybe explain what was going on with her.

 

The wizard, Regocc, started teaching her to channel her magic, cause she was born a sorceress. Years later, when she was arround 25, she set of to the world, for the first time not affraid of what was expecting her...

 

there, this is a short version of Ylith's background. And the story starts after the omission mark :happy:

love tea... got a little ceramic tea set for two from my aunt a few years back. fortunatelly, aunt lives in Germany so she sends me tea ever once in a while. and my grandmother still does some mixtures of herbal tea. definitelly love tea.

well... waiting for Burton's Corpse Bride (it's in the theatre now, but can't get the time to go to Zagreb) and for Scanner Darkly, supposed to be some amazing new way of filming. think that's it.

hm, in Croatia sentence for rape is a year or two. that is, if he is convicted, and usually rapists aren't. 70% of rapes in croatia happens in marriage, and women are too oldfashioned, orthodox, ashamed (stupid, brainwashed, etc...) to report it.

 

and if a woman actually reports a rapist... male judges set them free... there was this case a while ago, an american basketball player (female) accused a rich Croat for rape. she acused him for penetrating her anus with his fingers and the judge set him free (watch this) because ''anus and fingers are not sexual organs, therefore it was not a sexual assault''. be happy for living where you do.

so, how can I get my hands on a Hellblaser comic? Comics culture almost doesn't exist in Croatia, I'm stuck with Dylan Dog and Nathan Never as the best ones.
