  1. Good to have you around, man. And you can't run off now you've got your brother online!

I don't think there's anything in the issue that says just when in the Constantine timeline the events are set. I think it's supposed to be set in the gap between the Carey and Mina eras.

Have you read a preview issue or something?

Forgive me if this is obvious, but we know that it's not set during the current events...

A stand-alone story from John Constantine's recent past finds him repaying a debt to a fellow magus who's dying — along with the city of London itself. The killer? A terror that at first seems supernatural in origin, but turns out to be all too realistic in this memorable story from the mind of Denise Mina, guest-illustrated by Cristiano Cucina.
  2. As far as the triumvirate goes... see Nergal.

Of course, I could just be assuming too much, but I wouldn't think it too difficult for the 2nd and 3rd most powerful beings in hell to crawl out of the ooze, eat a bunch of lesser demons and eventually regain their power.

But, yeah, it surprised me to see them. I thought it was pretty cool, but that it was a mistake.

  3. but DC knows what they want and how they want to sell each issue.

    Two words: Greg Lauren.

Well we never found out why Greg Lauren suddenly left. I think the few covers he did were alright. Clearly DC were attempting to do something totally different than what Bradstreet did. Bermejo is a more traditional cover artist which is perfectly fine but after a year or two of Lee's covers, DC might need to shake things up again. (That is if Hellblazer is still being published of course)

Honestly, the few covers that he did were my favorites. I even wrote him asking for a print of John on the cross. He acknowledged it, but then stopped replying after agreeing to set something up :(

  4. Yeah, I can see that he draws really well, but I mean...

would you want a really awesome drawing of, like, an office chair? A box? A shitty car? The covers are nice, but they don't really mean anything at all to me. They're like fucking photoshoots. "Hey John, stand in front of the rock. Ok, now the sign. Greaaat! Ruffle your hair up a bit. Alright."

I don't know, maybe I'm just not liking Hellblazer in general as much as I used to.

  5. I have a friend who used to wprk at a bar in a disco.Him and me would usually get there early, before the disco was open so that we could get in for free.

So,we where hanging at the bar, getting some things ready for the night, and this guy comes to us(apparently he gopt there early for the same reason we did) and asked for a coke and thats when I, triying to be cool said: " You want a coke? Coke´s the less people ask for, if you know what i mean"....seconds later i realized how stupid i must have sounded saying that....and by the way my friend and this guy were looking at me i knew i had just said something really stupid, hahaha

I think I'd understand that better if it actually made sense.

  6. I have never cried when reading Hellblazer and I find it surprising that all you grown men have. Well, I didn't read every issue yet... even though I read every issue listed here. Except the one Tony mentioned, I think.

I think it's kinda goofy, too...

but Lucifer is another story. I got a bit sad when Death visited Elaine.

  7. To those that like Lucifer, what's your favorite issue?

Mine is "The Yahweh Dance". Elaine is my favorite character, and that issue was all about her. I also loved the perspectives that the issue was told in.

  8. Well...

It wasn't what I expected, by any means. But then, I didn't know what to expect.

    I'm satisfied.

edit: After reading it again, I'm a bit more than satisfied... but I still want more :(
