Also, I'm still concerned on the fact they gave Rip Hunter a proper trenchcoat and not John.

I liked the incarnation of Constantine on the Injustice prequel comic. He's still Hellblazer even next to Superman, and I've always liked the idea of John in a cape story.

It's why I've always favored Moore's Constantine.

Did I mention JoJo and Hellblazer both debuted in 1987?

Just as John Constantine was inspired by the musician Sting, the characters of JoJo were heavily inspired by various musicians as well.

both families whose various members discover they are destined to dabble with the supernatural.

only real differences were that he didn't get to swear like a sailor and the show did kinda make him out to be too "heroic " particularly in the early eps.
