no one ask me to be the guy who sells Constantine cigarettes. Maybe ashwin will volunteer kindly :p
but wait, this is LA........so that guy will probably end up being Korean or something....

i hope everything works out......I really want one of those Bradstreet t shirts......
and I echo Lou - how pricy and ive never had a problem with paypal either. though to be fair i've heard about some people who have.

this reminds me of some of the most effective scenes from the otherwise rather scattershot Fahrenheit 9.11. Those sadistic psycho soldier singing 'Burn motherfucker burn' standing beside his tank or whatever it was and that other redneck asshole with the vacant stare and the omnipresent chewing gum drawling about how they had music in the tanks and how it was like a video game.
Charlie K, doesnt the whole line they give you about martial arts should only be used for self defense get a little spread thin when you come across guys I like that. I swear, it really makes me lose my temper........
and then you have interviews on Fox News where the same soldiers complain about how the 'cowardly' insurgents only use guerilla warfare to fight them. What the fuck do they expect? Walk head on into the idiot with the joystick thats attached to a tank instead of an XBox for once???? Bastards.

pooka, have you seen Un Chien Andalou........you'll like it. You might as well go and watch The Terminator again while you're at it too if you like eyeballs.
-
hm that didnt look like it worked. did it? oh well its just a larger version of my avatar pic.
-
pooka, if you're fat then so am i.
Chris, nice one - you look a bit like a young Constantine with that hair.
And since everyone's reposting, I guess I'll do the same. Here's me in a bad mood.
Edit by John McM - you've got the wrong URL in between your IMG tags

Nice pic, Meaner. You look a lot like Michael Palin, the guy from Monty Python....
what exactly are jaunty shoulders, btw?
-
i thought it was rather good, though. The second one, especially - wouldve never thought of that.
-
HAHAHA.......nice one, Rogan,
I was wondering what you could possibly do with that picture since there seemed to be nothing funny/compromising about it. Congratulations, sir.
The Kennedy thing is a bit of a compliment.......

has anyone played a WWII shooter called Call for Duty or something of the sort? It's been recommended to me twice now and I was wondering if anyone knows about it. I havent heard anything about it but then I havent been following the games situation for a while now.
-
and yet you found time and energy to reply?
oi, discrimination here!! i say krix's pic in the introduction thread is very nice and she's got great hair and i get moved and here we have Rogan Jr being mentioned left and right and he's still on this thread!!
or wait, given the title of this thread.......is this rogan's personal flirting thread.....? im still not sure what the thread is for......
-
and i didn't know Josh was gay too! (not that i mind, i just thought Wolfram was the only one who declared himself as such on the boards...)
it's really true what they say - all the ggod looking men are either gay or spoken for... ;)
Mr Mcmahon, please move the above post to the flirting thread ;)
Josh, I'm sort of interested in the JFK assassination story too. Are there any books (other than the one you mentioned, or is that the best one?) you recommend since I dont have the time or energy to read all 2000.

i spent the last night with a Goth crew. some of their opinions seemed misguided and stuck-up to me... gimme a pansy-lovin' bunch of hippies any day of the week.
echo that. I went to a party the other night that had a bunch of Goths drop by and complain about how there wasnt any absinthe. That's right. I'm not even joking. They hung out in one corner and didnt take their various layers of leather off even though it was Really stuffy in that room from all the people and the smoke. And they made a point of exuding those look-at-these-unenlightened-people vibes.....irritating.

Everyone's already said what can be said.......
am really sorry to hear about it, Christian. I too know how it feels.
-
nah, i'd have to substitute "though im better at the katamewaza" with "though i'm better at the cut-my-wazoo" to keep it fresh and original...
Ah, good, so I shall not be Roganoviched any time soon and can post freely and without worries.

My name is Royal Blake. I'm a barman in Bay City, MI, USA. I have a penchant for writing & listening to all kinds of music. I also teach Judo to kids. My earthly mbition is to open an honest to gosh Juke Joint & to call it the Terra Firma.
All I got right now.
Have a picture.
Judo, huh? Come over to the martial arts thread.

i *know* what i wrote... and i didn't mean THEIR prick, of course... i just want them to be moderately happy while posting (this especially goes for Pooka;))
aaaahhhhhhhh i get it NOW. Stupid me.
Good one, Rogan. However could I underestimate/overlook your verbal skills at finding something obscene in everything possible :D
Though actually I *did* know it was something obscene - ie you insinuating everyone's going to grow a prick, which is more extreme than what YOU intended.......so perhaps I OVERestimated your skills at obscenity. haha.

Down The Local could also sport a "Enter not yon girly thread, lest ye have a prick 'tween yor legs" warning...
yeah i agree with that one. The first of my two/three posts in there I wrote without knowing it was expressly forbidden since Christian, Rogan and Donny had all posted in there right before me. And now I'm frightened of McMahon.
And Rogan, shouldnt that read 'IF ye have a prick between yor legs'???
what you said ('LEST ye have a prick..') suggests that any girls entering the thread will end up with a prick between their legs should they do so.

hey! We count! Clones have rights too, especially if we're stuck at this meaningkless dead-end job of monitoring and posting at this forum...
Yeah, Rogan, seriously....are you at your computer ALL the time? doesnt your head hurt??? Whenever I'm on here I see your name in the users online list

I got pretty ok at the judo - though im better at the katamewaza rather than the nagewaza.....it takes me a bit to get them off their feet but once they're down i can make them tap. i actually have some choking techniques down pretty well. It helps to have long limbs. I can snake in and out. The jigoku jime is a favourite of mine. You know the original terms I'm referring to I presume - my trainer refused to let me use English terms so he didnt teach me most of them and we ended up giving them all English nicknames that we made up and so you wouldnt get them.
Rogan could probably make a lot of puns off of the above paragraph.
I started boxing in the US. its not so big in Calcutta. I would guess Philly is a good town for boxing (guessing from the Rocky movies at least!) but I've never done any boxing there cept at the U Penn gym a couple times. I picked it up from trainers and students in college here at Lancaster which is a little outside Philly.
I'm a fan of the karate-boxing hybrid variety. The muay thai is a Leetle too much for me in the energy department. I'm reasonably athletic and fast but those guys - shit. And anyway there's no one here who's proficient enough in that style to teach me. I never competed big time, no. But i have taken part in some club tournaments with other colleges. And it sure can hurt. I've done so much boxing and kickboxing now that sometimes after intense sparring when I brush my teeth it bleeds and my dentist says I don't have any gum diseases whatsoever and that it must be from all the contact sports. Its weird to see your toothpaste turn pink. And a bit annoying. Ive never been seriously injured though. Lots of bruises and burst lips/cuts but nothing more. No breaks or ruptures. Hope it stays that way. It was worth the pain though.

Hpefully I'm not done travelling yet as I've only been to some 30-odd countries mostly in the Middle East and Asia as well as the well-worn parts of old Europe and the then USSR.
you're joking, right? ONLY been to 30 odd countries.....? you Have to be Joking.....

you do great portraits, sethos.......i like how you capture expressions on people's faces....whether you do it from memory or whether you actually see them like that, its quite impressive either way.
